Top Dog Model

Wednesday, 10 October 2012, 8:00PM – 9:00PM

The hunt is on to find Britain’s coolest canine in a brand new show for ITV2, Top Dog Model.

Television’s favorite Stacey Solomon, fashion model Lilah Parsons and Hollywood dog agent Addison Witt search for Britain’s most mutterly gorgeous dog with help from guest judge, Britain’s Got Talent winners Ashleigh and Pudsey and voiced by David Walliams.

The show brings the glamorous world of modelling together with Britain’s love of dogs. Top Dog Model seeks to find a true doggie star – the new Cindy Pawford, Claudia Sniffer, Naomi Spaniel or Elle Macfurson perhaps…

The pooches will go head-to-head as they are tested for their suitability as models through a series of dog-eat-dog modeling assignments, including photo and video shoots as well as challenges designed to test their poise and behaviour.

It’s not just looks alone that will crown our furry favourite, as personality and star quality will need to shine through too. The contest is hotting up as only one mutterly gorgeous dog will land an advertising campaign for a well-known international brand.

This week it’s the final and one of our three furry finalists must be crowned Top Dog Model. Being the final, anything can happen and there is a surprise in store for one of our pretty pooches.

The three gorgeous mutts and their owners head off to the beach in their first assignment, a photo shoot for a tourist board. Their brief is to sell how much fun it is to be beside the English seaside.

The big final assignment is shooting a full scale advert. The winning ad will be used in an online campaign for Cif. It’s the longest and most complicated shoot the dogs have undertaken but who will clean up? Will one of the dogs wipe the floor with the others?

Finally it’s left to the three judges, Stacey, Addison and Lilah to make the crucial all important decision. Which dogs furry-tail is about to come true and be crowned Top Dog Model?
