Tonight's film, taken from a script by cult writer Nik Cohn, looks at the origins of Rhythm and Blues and Soul, with contributions and archive footage from many leading players, including: Aretha Franklin, Ike and Tina Turner, Wilson Pickett, Stevie Wonder, Bo Diddley, The Supremes and Phil Spector.
