Another week and another Red Bull Bedroom Jam, this time the live feed heads down to London, for the interestingly titled 'Why Whiskey Why?'

Why Whiskey Why? sound like the evil twins from The Shining with a sad guitar, a little like Coco Rosie, but less serious and ethereal and more like they're from below the Watford Gap. The duo, consisting of Josie and Sian, describe themselves as "two girls who can't play guitar, trying to make music." After a storming set at this year’s Underage Festival their pleasant guitar playing has completely thrown that description out of the window. We and their growing legion of fans like them and we think that they are destined to become embedded in your brain, or at least in a few playlists!

Check them out live on the latest Red Bull Bedroom Jam, Thursday 23rd October live @ 7pm only at www.redbullbedroomjam.com

What is Red Bull Bedroom Jam?

Red Bull Bedroom Jam aims to give wiiings to new musical talent, of any genre, aged 19 years or younger. Every week the Red Bull Bedroom Jam panel of experts choose one band to be the focus of a LIVE webcast. Then, with the help of local young promoters, Red Bull produced marketing materials are distributed around the local area in order to raise awareness ready for show time!

How do artists or viewers get involved?
Artists and musicians can register and upload a music video or live performance at: www.redbullbedroomjam.com. Once moderated, the content appears in the ‘Watch and Rate” section of the website. Bands can then ask their mates and fans to watch the content and rate it. There is no registration process to rate tracks but there is an optional newsletter sign up so viewers can be alerted when bands are selected for LIVE performances.

Episode 2: Tuesday 19 May at 8pm – SCI FI channel

Remember K.I.T.T.? – a.k.a. the Knight Industries Three Thousand, and simply the coolest crime-fighting car ever created? Well, it’s back in this high-octane, zappy sequel to the iconic ‘80s original. And, OK, this time things are a little different. It might not have The Hoff at the wheel (although he does make a cameo in the pilot episode) and it’s a 2008 Ford Shelby Mustang rather than a TransAm Pontiac, but now K.I.T.T.’s an even bigger beast in the fight against crime – and it’s got a new ‘voice’: superstar VAL KILMER!  What’s more, it’s undergone a complete revamp from its predecessor. This K.I.T.T.’s certainly got ‘eat my dirt’ written all over it in very big letters. Equipped with Artificial Intelligence, K.I.T.T. is now capable of hacking into almost any security system and has the weapons capability of a jet fighter. It can also morph into the shape of other vehicles and uses sophisticated holographic imagery to elude all manner of villains.

So, sorry, Hoff: this one’ll leave you standing in the gutter! And along with all that state-of-the-art weaponry and that extra need for speed, it’s also got that other essential ingredient: sexual tension. Because behind the wheel is sexy young lead character Mike Traceur (JUSTIN BRUENING – ALL MY CHILDREN). Distracting Mike from all that crime-fighting is Sarah Graiman (DEANNA RUSSO -THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS), the gorgeous daughter of K.I.T.T.’s creator Charles Graiman (who’s played by sci-fi stalwart BRUCE DAVISON – X-MEN). And the source of all that sexual tension? Well, let’s just say that Mike and Sarah have a ‘history’…

KNIGHT RIDER also stars SYDNEY TAMIIA POITIER (daughter of Hollywood legend Sidney andstar of VERONICA MARS) as FBI agent Carrie Rivai, YANCEY ARIAS (KINGPIN) as FBI Agent Alex Torres, and PAUL CAMPBELL (BATTLESTAR GALACTICA) and SMITH CHO (FIRED UP!) as Billy Morgan and Zoe Chae, the techie support crew. Based on characters originally created by GLEN LARSON, the 17-episode KNIGHT RIDER comes from NBC Universal Television Distribution. The executive producers include DOUG LIMAN (director of THE BOURNE IDENTITY and the Brangelina vehicle MR AND MRS SMITH), GARY SCOTT THOMPSON (THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS) and DAVID BARTIS (HEIST, THE O.C.).

The series kicks off with a feature-length pilot episode (May 12), in which both K.I.T.T. and ex-soldier Mike Traceur are reborn for a new generation as they join forces to fight crime – stand by for that VERY SPECIAL mystery guest-star. In the second episode, ‘A Knight in Shining Armour’ (May 19), Mike comes face-to-face with both his past and an enigma called ‘The Package’ – a man with specially encoded and very valuable DNA. In ‘Journey to the End of the Knight’ (May 26), Mike goes undercover as a street racer to take down a gang that’s smuggling illegal weapons.

Kickers, the classic footwear brand is launching Random Bandits, a series of short animated comedy sketches backed by an online campaign created by digital agency Holler.

In a deal with TV comedy show Modern Toss, Kickers has produced a series of three short animated comedy sketches featuring a mix of brand new and classic Modern Toss characters, oversized boots and flies mulling over some very bizarre celeb rituals.

The brand, synonymous with popular British culture, is using digital media to reaffirm itself with its target audience of 19-35 year olds.

Written and illustrated in typical satirical Modern Toss fashion, with guest voice-overs supplied by star of ‘The Office’ and Hollywood swashbuckler Mackenzie Crook, ‘Random Bandits’ will be full of funny sketches and skits that see characters from the films sending-up everything from entertainment, popular culture and even social networks. The campaign will go live on April 6th and run for three months.

The films are set to feature Shoe Horn, a footwear obsessed shopper, Dave Beeline, a rowdy driver who pointblank refuses to accept the existence of any places not recognised by his sat nav, and Flytalk the celebrity-gossiping insects.

To drive word of mouth they will premier exclusively on MySpace at www.myspace.com/KickersUK before being syndicated online. MySpace will be the official hub for all things Random Bandits and the profile will house all content and news about the films as well as information on Kickers products.

Social network spaces across Bebo, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook will also form part of the campaign.

Holler will also be working with a host of third party sites such as NME to run UGC promotions that will give listeners and readers the chance to have their music featured as the sound track to the films in the series.

Further partnerships with Aloud.Com and Nuts will also spread news of the films and drive views.

Exclusive Kickers Modern Toss limited edition Kickers shoes and branded IPods are also be created for promotions.

James Kirkham, managing partner, Holler said: “This campaign taps into Kickers high levels of credibility with both adults and aspiring teens. By creating excitement and offering genuinely meaningful content it should strike a cord”.

From its inception in the 1970s, Kickers now spans men’s, women’s and Kids shoes. The product has evolved to incorporate a heritage collection, infused with the identity of classic Kickers, as well as a fashion-forward collaboration.

With its 40th anniversary rapidly approaching, Kickers has been awarded Superbrand status by the Superbrand’s Council, and voted 2008 Footwear Brand of the Year by Maxim.

More4 have launched a brand new online pub quiz, held in virtual pub The More4 Arms.

The game will allow players to pit their knowledge against four of the channels most famous faces – Jon Snow, Tony Robinson, David Starkey and Kevin McCloud – at the presenter’s specialist subjects. All four will also be seen in The More4 Arms bar, where a pub blackboard promotes upcoming programmes and seasons.

There will be a number of other quizzes across a range of topics, including a clip-based round on More4 programmes, which offers players the chance to win prizes, get their name on the scoreboard and challenge friends to compete.

The virtual pub quiz will be launched by a brand new trail featuring Jon Snow, Tony Robinson, David Starkey and Kevin McCloud – a sequel to the 2007 original trail that saw the four thrashing all comers in a real pub quiz. The new trail sees them banned from the local quiz but returning, decked out in disguise, to sneak their way back in.

To play the game now search online for More4 pub quiz or visit www.more4pubquiz.com

Check out the latest highlights video from Red Bull Bedroom Jam’s live webcast last week featuring Attack! Attack! and 13 riots.

Next up the Red Bull Bedroom Jam tour bus heads west to Worcester- home of apples, beef, sauce and, of course, Dan Scotty. Described by some as “a one man electronic emo machine”, 19-year-old Dan Scotty comes to us fresh off the road from his first UK tour, where he got busy turning rock shows into dance parties.

Dan has earned himself a large fanbase thanks to his infectious live shows, and boasts an impressive 300,000 hits on his Myspace page.

Point your browser towards www.redbullbedroomjam.com on Monday, March 16th, where Dan (plus a full band) will be playing live for your listening pleasure.

As ever, Red Bull Bedroom Jam presenters Goldierocks and Richie T will get the party started from Red Bull HQ where they’ll be chatting to the leisure wear-loving Goldie Lookin Chain.

And with a group like that, who knows what’s going to happen, so make sure you tune in at 5pm on Monday – you knows it.

Next up the Red Bull Bedroom Jam tour bus heads  to deepest darkest Radlett to pay a visit to 13 Riots, whilst punk pop super heroes Attack! Attack! hold fort at Red Bull HQ with a live interview.
13 Riots are a 4-piece alternative rock band with a twist of synths, consisting of Tom Solomons, Matty Boyce, Daniel Boyce and Rob Ingham Clark.
After forming and playing their first shows in 2006, the band watched their dedicated local following turn into a national one after being asked to play alongside some of the UK’s best artists around, including Bloc Party, My Passion, Saving Aimee, Doll’s House and None The Less.  The current line-up has been continually pushing the band to its limits since 2007, and the foursome have gone on to record their first demo, entitled ‘Memory & Desire’, which is out now and is featured and reviewed in some of the best unsigned magazines.
Formed at the beginning of last year in a rundown industrial estate on the outskirts of Cardiff, Attack! Attack! have already begun to make quite the impact on an unsuspecting UK scene.
Having cut their teeth in various South Wales based bands, including Dopamine, Adequate Seven, Midasuno and Pete’s Sake, the quartet that makes up the A!A! are no strangers to hard work, having released a plethora of CDs between them and toured a handful of countries in the process. Having already clocked up tours alongside Lostprophets, Funeral For A Friend, Forever The Sickest Kids, The Blackout and Cancer Bats, the band’s relentless hard work on the live circuit in both the UK and Europe has helped build up a strong fanbase that is constantly growing. The band are currently gearing up for the release of ‘Honesty’, the third single from their Stuart Richardson (Lostprophets) produced self-titled debut album, following on from previous singles, ‘This Is A Test’ and ‘You and Me’.
Tune in at 5pm on Monday 9th February to check out the show. Don’t be late!
