Before Sunset: 

Klaus acts on his intentions to leave town with Elena, but finds resistance from a surprising new enemy. Bonnie calls on Abby (recurring guest star PERSIA WHITE) to help her with a difficult spell. As events spiral out of control, Elena is determined to protect Caroline; Damon and Stefan enlist Tyler’s help; and Bonnie and Jeremy take a terrifying risk to make sure her spell is effective. Plus, Damon and Stefan have a surprisingly candid conversation about the future.

The Fugitives: 

Blair enlists Serena to be her stand-in at an important meeting when Blair finds herself needing to be in two places at the same time. Meanwhile, Ivy and Lola (recurring guest star ELLA RAE PECK) team up to help Chuck with a personal vendetta, and Nate makes a decision about the future with Diana Payne (recurring guest star ELIZABETH HURLEY).

In this weeks show, a reluctant Pete heads to Dubai for work, anxious about leaving his brother Andrew behind in the UK. 

In Dubai, Pete has time for some last minute training before he bares all for his annual calendar shoot and as always, he’s burdened with insecurities about his body.

On an evening out, a Russian belly dancer catches his eye and Pete takes best friend Carl along on a double date, but it doesn’t all go to plan. Dubai offers up plenty of fun but the reality of Andrew’s ill health is never far and the trip is an emotional roller-coaster for Pete.

Do Not Go Gentle: 

Alaric finds an unexpected ally to guide him on his dangerous new path, while Damon and Meredith (recurring guest star TORREY DeVITTO) try to figure out what their next move should be. At the school’s 1920s Decade Dance, Bonnie asks Jamie (recurring guest star ROBERT RI’CHARD) to go with her and, at Caroline’s suggestion, Elena asks Stefan to be her date. Caroline is pleasantly surprised when Tyler shows up at the dance determined to sweep her off her feet, but Klaus does his best to come between them. The dance takes a deadly turn when Damon and Stefan realize they need the help of Matt, Jeremy and especially Bonnie to undo a spell that could prove devastating for everyone.

Raiders of the Lost Art: 

Chuck, Nate, Blair, Serena and Lola (recurring guest star ELLA RAE PECK) team up to uncover what they think is an explosive secret between Diana (recurring guest star ELIZABETH HURLEY) and Jack (recurring guest star DESMOND HARRINGTON). Meanwhile, Dan is offered a prestigious fellowship in Rome for the summer.

Blair feels like her Upper East Side status might be slipping away and devises a plan to assure that doesn’t happen. Meanwhile, Lily throws a family gathering — including William (recurring guest star BILLY BALDWIN), Carol (recurring guest star SHEILA KELLY) and Lola (recurring guest star ELLA RAE PECK) — in an attempt to prove the van der Woodsen family is as united as ever. Finally, Nate digs into Diana’s (recurring guest star ELIZABETH HURLEY) past and is surprised by what he discovers. New York Social Diary’s DAVID PATRICK COLUMBIA appears in the episode as himself.

With only two weeks to go before a new calendar shoot in Dubai, Pete’s feeling the pressure of taking his clothes off – Drew has drawn up a punishing fitness regime, but first, Pete has to turn up! When Kerry Katona comes for tea, she brings along her new boyfriend Steve, but will he be a hit or miss with Pete? And when Amy Childs asks Pete to introduce her new range of clothes at a celebrity fashion show, it’s not the dresses that catch Pete’s eye… 

Pete’s brother Andrew is due to arrive from Australia and preparations are in full flow, but despite Pete’s positivity, things don’t go as smoothly as planned when he arrives in the UK.

Heart of Darkness: 

Elena and Damon set off together to make sure Jeremy is safe in Denver, and to see if his special abilities can help reveal the information they need about ancient vampire bloodlines. It doesn’t take them long to learn that Jeremy has been hanging with the wrong people. Stefan and Klaus both go to brutal extremes in their search for the missing weapon. Caroline is thrilled when Tyler returns to town, but Tyler soon suspects that something has been going on between Caroline and Klaus. Matt has his hands full trying to keep Rebecca (recurring guest star CLAIRE HOLT) busy organizing the school’s upcoming 1920s Decade Dance.

Salon of the Dead: 

To celebrate their official coming out as a couple, Blair and Dan host a glamorous British-themed Salon, including guests JULIAN TEPPER and JENNA GRIBBON (founders of The Oracle Club). Lola (recurring guest star ELLA RAE PECK) lands the audition of a lifetime, but Gossip Girl may have other plans for the Upper East Side’s latest It Girl. Meanwhile, Lily and Rufus disagree over the best way to handle the Ivy situation, and Serena and Diana (recurring guest star ELIZABETH HURLEY) face off over secrets they both would prefer remain secrets.
