Five Life has acquired the multi-channel rights to two of Britain’s most popular dramas, Bad Girls and Footballers’ Wives from Shed Productions, it was announced today.

Bad Girls, is set in the fictional women's prison Larkhall and features serious and lighthearted storylines focusing on the prisoners and staff of G Wing. The drama, previously show on ITV, has been awarded two National Television awards for Most Popular Drama. Series four of the prison drama will transmit this spring.

Footballers’ Wives, follows the sexy and scandalous lives of the fictional Earls Park Football Club players and their wives. Series one will transmit on Five Life in the Spring.
