After Mel and Madge's romantic evening stroll on the beach is very rudely interrupted, what is supposed to be the most memorable day of their life proceeds to become memorable for all the wrong reasons.

Mick's last ditch attempt to dissuade Mel from the wedding brings about a revelation from Mel. Kate also has some unexpected news for Martin. Mel and The Oracle go head to head (or rather toe to head) once again but this time with disastrous consequences. Mick has another run in with the law but this time it's the Spanish Police.

Paul Jackson, ITV’s director of Entertainment and Comedy says: “Derren has once again written a wonderful series of scripts. All the characters we loved in the first series are back with even more outrageous storylines and stunts. The cast really are some of the best comedy talent we have in the UK and I’m thrilled we have some very fantastic new additions.”

Friday 25 April 2008 9:00pm - 9:30pm

Mateo (Jake Canuso) tries to get back with his old flame, Kelly (Niky Wardley). Unfortunately Kelly's mother, Sylvia (Wendy Richard), is in town and she doesn't suffer fools gladly. Madge (Shelia Reid) accuses Sylvia of messing with her man and a slanging match leads to their squaring up in their mobility chairs for a terrifying Western-style shoot out around the pool.

Wendt Richard guest stars in this episode as Sylvia, the sharp tongued mother of ex-Solana employee Kelly who was engaged to ladys’ man Mateo.

Wendy says: “My character Sylvia is a tough cookie and very self opinionated. She goes out to Spain to sort out her daughter's, love life. Kelly (Niky Wardley) was engaged to the Spanish waiter/barman Mateo and discovered he had been unfaithful, so Sylvia is on a mission to sort him out!”

Wendy laughs as she describes how bad she was at controlling the mobility chair.

Mel's proposal to Madge is the talk of the resort. Janice tries to convince Madge not to agree to a wedding to a man they have only known for five minutes. After all, for all they know he could be a mass-murderer.

Kate encounters Mateo again but after telling him that last year’s traumatic affair was simply a moment of madness it becomes clear that Mateo doesn't actually remember her.

An arm-wrestling match organised by The Oracle and his mum turns into Fight Club with a chance for some to settle old scores.

Friday 28 March 2008 9:00pm - 9:30pm on ITV1.

Once again the Solana, Benidorm's premier all inclusive resort, plays host to its usual mix of holidaymakers all looking for sun, sea and savings – although not all of our regulars planned on being there.

Kate and Martin have gone to a nearby picturesque village but find more than a chocolate on the pillow in their room.

The Garveys return with several new additions – Telle's baby Coolio and Madge's new boyfriend Mel, owner of five sunbed shops and Didsbury's answer to Julio Iglesias.

The Garveys holiday doesn't get off to the best of starts when Mel's diving competition with The Oracle leads to a near fatal accident.
