BB10: Day 88 Highlights

That Were Good Wern It Dave?

When words fail, use sign language...

Last night’s highlights show was one of the best this series, primarily because it brought out the true bitchiness in Lisa. For once, she couldn’t hide her truly ugly side and seeing others nominating her – despite the fact she’s nominated two people every week – really set her off.

It was a stroke of genius to play old nominations footage into the house and only Lisa was remotely bothered by it. Everyone else laughed and took it for what it was – a game. But Lisa got all hot under the collar about it and had digs at various housemates all day.

So when it came time to nominate, which BB sprung on them, she and David did their usual “I’ll not brek rules for nobody me” speech. After a bit more self-congratulation on their integrity, both nominated while everyone else refused to. Everyone but Rodrigo that is because he was annoyed with Lisa and David for nominating. Confused? Well, they all were, but it was great to watch.

In the end, between nominations and non-nominations, everyone’s up for eviction tonight. Lisa will be getting my vote and if she doesn’t go, then probably David will.

Her breathing fire routine is coming along nicely

It’s all getting very tense in there too now that the end is drawing nigh. We saw in last night’s show how Lisa was nearly pushed to breaking point by Charlie banging something and squealing like a girl in the bedroom when it was deathly quiet. And to be fair, I’d probably have ripped him a new one for doing that too.

Lisa’s reprisal was to go up to Charlie’s bed and shout “BOO!” before she and David headed to the kitchen and the smoking bench after a bitchy exchange with Charlie. Another amusing scene last night was when Siavash, Charlie, Rodrigo and Sophie were discussing walking out of the house and speculating on what the week’s highlights shows would be like if only Lisa and David remained in the house. And they were quite right; it would only be footage of them smoking and drinking tea and congratulating each other on being “great”.

But even as the four went into the diary room to tell Biggie they wanted to walk, it was obvious it wasn’t going to happen. I think Siavash and Sophie would have but Charlie clearly wasn’t going to leave at this late stage. I don’t think Rodrigo would’ve either. So, tonight’s the night… who’ll go do you reckon? I wouldn’t mind at all if Charlie went but I suspect it’ll be Lisa or David. Bring it on!

See you tomorrow for a pulling apart of tonight’s show Eye-wink
