Oh Grow Up Charlie!!

That's exactly my opinion of Charlie too...

I’m gutted that BB is coming to an end because episodes like last night’s highlights make it the pleasure to watch that is, most of the time. And one thing that it did was show me that I’ve been right about Charlie all the way along. He’s childish, he’s selfish, he’s rather pathetic and his Mr Nice Guy routine wears thin when things don’t go his way.

We saw that the housemates were given the Beyonce task and Charlie, in a fit of supreme childishness, didn’t want to be the stylist. As with many things that don’t go his way, he was “really, really upset by it” and he was even more upset when Rodrigo couldn’t stop laughing at him. “Don’t laugh at us ‘cos I’m really upset actually” he said as he minced off in a paddy.

What he forgets is how he can and does nearly break a rib laughing at other people, no matter how p’d off they are. And his ‘jokes’ and ‘playing’ are equally as pathetic. When he lobbed that spacehopper at Lisa, did he really imagine she was going to think it was amusing given that it nearly decapitated her and spilled her precious tea? I suspect on the outside, Charlie’s ‘pranks’ might one day get him into some seriously hot water, and not of the swimming pool variety.

However, the absolute highlight last night was watching David, Siavash and Sophie performing – kind of – the Beyonce dance routine. It was absolutely hilarious. Siavash’s costume was so far up his crack, he could’ve used it for dental floss, and his slipping around on his high heeled court shoes was equally as funny. In case you missed it, here it is…

Brilliant stuff!

So, we’re down to the final five and we’re now voting for who we want to win it. I so wish there could be more than one winner because I’d vote for Rodrigo, Siavash and Sophie. Sophie’s really only come totally out of her shell in the last couple of weeks and she’s proved to be a really good laugh and a very down to earth girl.

But Rodrigo’s been one of my favourites from the get go, as has Siavash. The only thing that's annoying about Siavash is how he keeps stomping off when the Noirin thing rears its ugly head, but, given that he’s very, very funny and very, very cool, I can forgive him for that.

David too is a good laugh. He doesn’t mind making a tool of himself and he pretty much takes most things well, unlike Charlie who’s a sulky little girl most of the time…

Anyway, one day to go and that’s it for this year. Another gaping hole on weekday nights, telly-wise, but at least there’s the X Factor to look forward to, then there’ll be I’m A Celebrity… and possibly a celeb version of BB. So I guess I won’t be going into a deep depression just yet
