Gerry has been evicted and the house is about to be a very different place. The housemates hear a huge cheer as Gerry goes outside and are excited by the reception he received.

The housemates talk about how Gerry had made it easier for them by requesting that they vote him out over Carole. Ziggy says that Carole deserves to win but Tracey thinks that they all do - ie her.

Liam and Ziggy talk at the smoking bench and Liam says he was frustrated, nervous. He doesn't trust Tracey at all. Neither does Ziggy.

They must be talking about insurance but Liam says that if he punches someone in the face and breaks a finger he'll get paid £3000.

Carole is in the diary room saying that she should have gone tonight but she didn't. She feels very lucky to be with the young people that she's with and thinks they're great.

Tracey and Amanda are talking about Brian again.

Amanda and Brian talk and Amanda finally tells Brian that she just wants to be friends. Brian plays the sweet guy but you know he's going to be upset as he's been so smitten with her. Brian says that he's not wanting to ruin the friendship they have.

Everyone is in bed but Brian is up at 4:00am at the smoking bench. Liam comes out to ask why he's still up. They talk about Amanda. Brian says he can't flog a dead horse though can he.

At the table, they talk about dates. Liam says that the twins would be the worst first dates. Brian heads outside and tells Tracey that he just needs some female affection. Liam tries to explain to the girls that they're naive and what that means. They disagree and think that not knowing stuff is just called growing up and when you're old you do old stuff and when you're young you do fun stuff. Liam says that Amanda has learnt a lot since she came into Big Brother which proves that she was naive. She asks what that has to do with dating. Liam says NO, it's to do with naive.

Brian and Amanda talk about going out on a date after they leave the house. Brian says he wants to go to a classy restaurant.

Carole is in the diary room and says that she is not going to do the shopping list this week and is going to avoid it like the plague.

Brian and Ziggy are in the diary room talking about an ideal task for a Saturday night. They would like a karaoke machine. Brian says that now he's single. Big Brother wants to know more. Brian tells him about his conversation with Amanda and how he's always the friend for life. Ziggy says that when it's all over he'll be out on the street and people will come up to him and say "Oh, you were in the Big Brother house... Do you know Brian"?

Today's task, housemates must outsmart Big Brother. Housemates must ask Big Brother questions and then later in the day, Big Brother will ask them questions. If the Housemates score more than Big Brother then they will win a selection of pizza.

Jonty manages to outsmart him first with a history question.

Big Brother calls a housemate to the diary room and Liam heads off to try and outwit Big Brother in the battle of knowledge. Liam fails to outsmart Big Brother. Brian however outsmarts him when he doesn't know when Neighbours first aired.

The housemates are all in the diary room being tested. They manage to answer more questions and the pizza is theirs. They will be happy to have some semi interesting food for a change.

Carole, Tracey and Liam are in the garden and Carole is complaining about Ziggy and his loaf of bread. Ziggy comes out and another argument ensues. Ziggy's loaf was frozen and Carole offered him some of her thawed loaf and now she's annoyed that he hasn't paid her back. Ziggy says that when she gave it to him it was communal. She said she didn't.

Ziggy and Jonty are talking about who should do the shopping list this week. They think Liam should do it because they don't think Carole wants to do it this week. Liam says that every week she says she doesn't want to do it but she ends up doing it anyway.

Amanda is in the diary room to talk. Brian and dating is the topic of conversation. She thinks he's so sweet.
