Each morning, the male housemates must greet the female housemates in a formal manner by kissing them on the hand.
So far the housemates have incurred three fails. If they incur one more then they will fail the task and receive a basic shopping budget for the third week in a row.
Carole is farting and everyone cracks up and says that that will be worth a big "whoopsie".
The housemates are gathered on the sofas for the final finishing academy lesson. Dinner Etiquette is the subject of the day. Some of their behaviour has been unforgiveable. They're given a list of things that should and should not be done. Tonight, the housemates will have what they've learnt put to the test at the Big Brother ball.
Ziggy says Jonty is looking at him weird. Liam wonders if that means he nominated him.
Big Brother plays music into the house for them to practice their dancing to. Tracey is wondering how on earth you're supposed to dance to this music. It's a bit of a mess.
Carole gives Jonty some advice on doing the dishes. Ziggy is annoyed that Carole once again got involved in something. He's annoyed that Jonty is a fully grown man and doesn't need to be told what to do.
Carole and Jonty practice their dancing without the music and Carole is humming 1, 2, 3. She ends up leading and Jonty says, that's ok they wont see who is leading who. Carole reminds him about the millions of cameras around the place.
Tracey, Liam and Brian have run out of cigarettes.
Big Brother has delivered invitations to the ball. Brian ponders whether they are having a guest and if it's the queen. No one thinks it will be but Brian thinks that it might be one of her roles to show her interest in popular culture. Dream on Brian.
Carole comes into the bedroom and complains that no one is taking the task seriously and rising when a lady enters the room. People are farting and swearing and they're failing the task all over the place.
Everyone has been given formal attire for the ball and are gathered on the sofas. Big Brother announces that Kara-Louise, Jonty and Tracey have been nominated for eviction. Brian gets up and kisses Tracey's hand and then pats Kara-Louise on the head. And here I was thinking he was acting all proper.
Jonty and Kara-Louise are not surprised to be nominated. Brian thinks Tracey will be safe.
Jonty is called to the diary room because he is upset. He's upset that people aren't accepting him as part of the group. He feels separated from the group. He's observed that when there is an argument, everyone but him and Kara are in the argument.
Everyone is on the sofas but Kara-Louise is off to the side and they're arguing about what food they will order. Liam is adamant that they will order less vegetables.
To pass this the dinner task, they must observe the rules they have been taught. Brian is talking with his mouth full at the banquet. They're saying that they'd rather just enjoy themselves now rather than fail. Jonty believes that they have done exceeding well this evening.
The housemates dance and it looks faily chaotic. Brian and Tracey look so out of place but then, they have all week.
Tracey is in the bedroom and is crying. She is desperate for a cigarette.
Ziggy is in the diary room wondering why he voted for Tracey when he had so much fun with her tonight.
Tracey heads out to the smokers bench and pulls some filthy butts out of the bucket and tries to find something to smoke. Brian consoles her with Liam in the caravan.
At 1:04am Big Brother calls the housemates to the sofas. Liam is inhaling helium and talking funny. Big Brother announces the results of the task and when they learn that they've passed they are incredibly excited.
Brian and Tracey are in the bedroom talking about how 'ard the task was.
Carole is the topic of discussion again in particular, the food and shopping budget.
Tracey is in the diary room seeming a bit happier although she doesn't think she'll survive this week.
Ziggy wants the shopping list to be shared. He comes out to talk to Carole and says three new people want to do it but they're scared of getting told off. Everyone is in the house on their own accord and they should be given the chance to participate. Carole gets upset that people aren't coming up and talking to her about their issues. Carole cries and Ziggy is annoyed and comes out again to ask what the problem is. Ziggy says she's like a big baby and so rude.
Ziggy is wondering why everyone feels they have to tread lightly around Carole.
