The first week of programmes sees the children arrive at Bedgrove Infants for the first time and gradually settle in to school life.

Elliott meets his new teacher, Mrs Fenner, and eats his first ever school lunch. Four-year-old Grace, meanwhile, is worried because she is finding school a little lonely; until she makes a new friend! And all the children learn that school can be great fun when Eve’s fifth birthday sparks a series of special surprises.
