All Star Family Fortunes: Episode 6

Piranhas have a reputation as the most ferocious fish in the world. With razor sharp teeth, they hunt in packs, stripping a body of its flesh in minutes. In this programme, the first of a new series, biologist and extreme angler Jeremy Wade examines whether piranhas deserve the reputation they’ve gained as one of the biggest terrors in the water.
Jeremy travels to Brazil to find out what lurks under the murky waters of the Amazon and attempts to get to the bottom of stories of piranha attacks on humans. Scientists have determined that there are some 60 different species in the piranha sub-family, yet the majority of them are actually vegetarian. It is the flesh eating behaviour of just a couple of species that gives them their reputation.

The group then enjoys a traditional English garden party complete with Pimms, scones and a game of croquet.

Murderland Series Finale

On June 21st 1994 Sally Walsh, a woman who worked in a massage parlour on the fringes of the sex industry is found murdered in the small kitchen of her house in an unremarkable street in North West London. Her 13 year old daughter Carrie was out but returned to find her home a crime scene. Despite numerous suspects, no one was ever charged with the murder.
This final episode is largely set in Present Day and is the culmination of Carol’s obsessive drive to find out the truth. A quest which puts Hain in a terrible dilemma as he has powerful reasons for not wanting Carol to dig any deeper into the murder.

Victim Richard Tanner was a man who didn’t want Little Worthy to move with the times. His sister Jackie reveals he recently jilted his lover, schoolteacher Rebecca Rix, and Barnaby finds her classroom is full of children’s paintings about Gulliver’s Travels.
