Britain's Best Dish
Monday 22 October 2007 5:00pm - 6:00pm on ITV1.
It’s the final week of Britain’s Best Dish and one contestant will have their dish crowned as Britain’s Best Dish in a live final on Friday 26 October.
After months of auditions and weeks of tasting over 120 recipes from all over Great Britain, the moment of truth is finally upon us, it’s the live Final of Britain’s Best Dish 2007.
All through the heats our tough talking judges, restaurateur Ed Baines, Wine expert Jilly Goolden and Michelin starred chef John Burton Race have munched their way through the very best recipes the nation’s amateur cooks can serve up. The competition has been fierce and the judges’ debates have been heated. It’s been a tough job for ringmaster extraordinaire, Mark Nicholas.
During the final week semi-finalists will be slaving over hot stoves to perfect their dishes and impress the judges.
They will be whittled down to three finalists who will compete against each other for the title. They will be preparing their signature dishes and hoping they can whisk up a winner.
