LIVE BLOG - Britain's Got Talent - Semi-Final Four

Hello BGT fans, sorry about the football yesterday. Rubbish wasn't it? The best of British talent (ahem) is back on. Yay etc.

First up tonight is girl dane group Sugar Free.

There's a Circus theme going on in their performance, evident in their outfits, the big top music, and then Circus by Britney Spears. Yeah they're okay. Well, they're good. I certainly couldn't do it, I'd fall over, but they're not as amazing as the other dance groups that have gone through tonight. They've given it their all, anyway.

Simon thought they were good but not brilliant. He felt like someone else had helped them with their routine. They insist it was all their doing, but I'm not so sure either.

Piers says they were the best girl dance group in the competition.

I don't think they were good enough to get through, but we shall see...

Next up, is Tippy Toes the dog. Simon asked Tippy to come back and tapdance for the semi-final. I hope TT will wear tap shoes for this.

Okay, no shoes.

Hmm. Simon looks disappointed. I am a bit, but I don't want to be, I love dogs. Simon is a known animal-lover, and I think he hoped it would be much better than what it was.

Amanda and Piers are not keen Simon feels like a bit of an idiot for supporting them.

I don't think they'll go through. Poor Tippy.

Now for someone different - Callum Francis. If you remember, in his audition he sang from Oliver! and the judges loves him.

He's doing a Jungle Book medly tonight. He's dressed as Mogli in a red loin cloth. Not sure I like that. OH WOW BALOO THE BEAR IS WITH HIM! AND NOW KING LOUIS!

OH I LOVE DISNEY TOO MUCH!

Sorry I'm digressing.

His singing was better in the audition, but what he lacks in finese he makes up for in personality and charisma. He is a happy lad and he'd be loved on the West End stage.

He's getting good comments from the judges. He looks like he's trying to choke back tears of joy, he's so made up. Simon thinks he'll be in the final on Saturday. Well done Callum lad!

Now a 73-year-old breakdancer, Fred Bowers. I'm a bit nervous watching him. I'm scared he'll break something. Osteo-arthritis is a problem for old people. He's doing a handstand and scissoring his legs.

I'm kind of relieved it's finished, it's uncomfortable to watch.

The judges have mixed thoughts on him. Nice to see an old man being active, but will he win? No. Oh, it seems he's cut his arm, somehow. ARGH, go and put your feet up, Fred. Slippers on, cup of tea. Last of the Summer Wine on the telly. Sorted.

Now, the Brit Chix. I loved these. They have attitude and a good poppy sound. Amanda liked them and thought they'd be perfect for the Royal Variety.

Simon's buzzed them within seconds. They're singing Wannabe by the Spice Girls. Oh no. Two more buzzes. They've had to stop. It's gone horribly wrong. What happened? Simon says it didn't work. They didn't sound authentic. Maybe they weren't ready for this. Yeah, Piers says they're not there yet. Amanda said "see you next year".

They're gracious despite the buzzes and criticism. You can still vote for them anyway, so maybe the public will pity them.

Now, the brilliant saxophonist, Julian Smith. He was very nervous during his audition, and he wants to do well for is daughters. He sees this as his "last chance". I so want him to do well...

He's playing All By Myself by Celine Dion. He sounds good, and I'm sorry I can't somehow share the sound with you. Amanda looks emotional.

The audience love him, and he's getting a great reaction. He enjoyed performing.

Piers says Julian "is the coolest contestant they've had on the show". He thinks he can win the competition. Amanda thinks he is the best act so far, and he stirred her emotions. "Another fantastic performance." Simon likes Julian a lot. He is "humble and ambitious" and he thinks he has a great chance.

Two more acts to go, then voting time...

Next up, is Two Grand. They're a grandfather and granddaughter singing act. I loved them. They were so sweet. They're singing Somewhere Out There.

They're dressed up lovely and smart. Sally is a lovely singer, and she's still quite young. Her Granddad is pretty good too. Amanda's tear switch has been activated. So has mine. I you're soft you can't help but love these. They're good and they're adorable to boot. *blub*

Amanda is a mess from her tear activation. She likes how they're a family act, and can be enjoyed by everyone. Simon really really likes them. AWWWWWW! He thinks they're sincere. Piers says the epitomise what the show is about, and he would love it if they made the final. PLEASE PEOPLE, VOTE THEM IN.

Final act now, and is it Fabia Cerra. You remember her, she got her norks out.

Oh holy moly, she's dancing to What a Feeling from Flashdance. Someone is jumping on the Robert Webb bandwagon.

Light-up nipple tassles a-go-go tonight. Other than that, her act doesn't have as much impact as it did when she auditioned. I think the judges will like it anyway. Probably out of politeness more than anything.

It's time to vote now, and the numbers are HERE.

Okay voting closed. The first finalist for tonight it JULIAN SMITH.

100% well deserved. Go for it Julian! He's grateful to those who voted for him.

Okay now the judges must choose one of the two next popular acts voted for by the public. They need to choose between TWO GRAND and CALLUM FRANCIS.

Simon chooses: TWO GRAND

Amanda chooses: TWO GRAND

Piers chooses: Callum (maybe out of politeness...)

TWO GRAND ARE IN THE FINAL.

They're so shocked and happy. Not a dry eye in the house. And Julian is through too! Both worthy finalists. DOUBLE YAY!

Okay everyone, one more semi-final tomorrow night.

If you missed The Apprentice last night, check out the LIVE BLOG for highlights.

See you lot tomorrow night. Ciao.
