Today is Day 14 in the CBB house, and the unpleasant awkwardness from yesterday’s row between Danica and The Sitch is lingering like a case of cystitis in the heat…

In case you missed the low down on that goss, click here to read my earlier article, where there’s clips and everything! Damn I’m good to you.

Anyway, things were über awkward this morning as everyone did their best to breeze past the issue, but of course, there was no escape for The Sitch and Danica, or Lorenzo, given that he’s tethered to Danica as part of the Gods and Mortals task.

However, having said she’ll be civil to Mike, but that’s it, few words have actually been spoken between them today, but the silence is deafening.

Meanwhile, one housemate who hasn’t been keeping quiet is Martin, and this morning, he warned Ashley and Harvey about Julie, advising the boys to distance themselves from her… Continue reading »

And Julie does unspeakably revolting things with a banana! If Yoda was on Twitter, he’d write, #spewyourringupyouwill

Yesterday was Day 13 in the Celebrity Big Brother house, and it turned out to be very unlucky for some of our housemates as this week’s shopping task – which you can read more about in a moment – divided the house, in more ways than one…

And Day 13 also saw a huge bust up between Danica and Mike The Sitch after he made yet another snidey remark to Danica.

It began when, as the Mortal housemates waited in he bedroom for the next stage of the task, Rhian remarked that in the costume BB had given Danica – and the rest of them – to wear, the cameras might get a “crotch shot.”

Quietly, Mike sniped, “I’m sure she doesn’t care.”

And that was it, the fireworks began! Here are the clips of the row and the aftermath, when for once, the housemates who voiced an opinion defended Danica.

The row part one… Continue reading »

And Julian tells a very good shaggy dog story!

As we reported yesterday, which was Day 12 in the CBB house, four housemates, Danica, Rhian, Samantha and Mike The Situation face eviction on Wednesday, and the news of who’s up caused something of a shockwave through the house.

However, it was Samantha who was the worst affected by the news, so she was ushered into the bedroom by Julie for a pep talk.

She told Sam, “You go through the motions, you do all that and it [eviction] won’t happen.”

Julie added, “I know your husband would love to see you but tough titty. You are needed. No crying.”

Back in the living area, Ashley, Martin, Mike The Situation and the Prince all expressed their surprise that she was up, given that she does pretty much all of the cooking. The Situation suggested that some of the housemates may be trying to vote off all the ‘strong’ characters… Continue reading »

And Ashley and Mike The Sitch make plans to nominate Danica and Rhian?!

As we reported yesterday, Jasmine Lennard’s mum Marilyn went into the CBB house as part of a task entitled, Like Mother Like Daughter.

Her mission was to convince the housemates that she’s a celebrity psychic called Shelley who’s just been the subject of a major scandal on the outside. All the time she was in the house, Marilyn was receiving direction from Jasmine via an earpiece.

Had she succeeded, she would’ve won immunity from nominations for Coleen and Samantha – Jasmine and Marilyn chose who they’d award immunity to before the task began – however, they failed because pretty much all the housemates smelled a rat from the get go.

However, ‘Shelley’ managed to ruffle a few feathers during her short time in the house, and both Sam and Danica were reduced to tears via Jasmine and Marilyn’s ‘predictions’ for them.

Martin became suspicious after he asked Marilyn what her surname was, and she said she didn’t have one! However, Lorenzo admitted he was actually convinced by ‘Shelley’ at first, while Julie said she knew it was all a fake from the start… Continue reading »

As fans of CBB will know, Cheryl Fergison became the second evictee, which came as a big surprise to many, especially so as Lorenzo and Coleen were heartily booed by the crowd, as was Julian actually…

I’ve no clue why Julian was booed so aggressively, and particularly as it turned out he received the most votes to save. Why do you think he was greeted with hostility from the crowd?

As to the booing for Lorenzo, he seemed rather nonplussed about it – as am I – but later, Mike The Sitch, who was of course saved, suggested that he needs to “interact” with his housemates more, and then, somehow insultingly added, “Did you ever sit by yourself at lunch [when you were a kid]?”

Danica, who was in on the chat, was mortified at what Mike had just said, and as Lorenzo looked bemused, The Sitch wandered off… Continue reading »

As we reported yesterday, which was of course Day 9, the housemates were given a task in which half of them gave flowers, while the other half received those flowers…

The aim of the game was to have the recipients guess who’d sent the floral tributes, and if they guessed correctly, they’d win a tea party.

Long and short of it was, they did pass and therefore won an afternoon tea party and all the trimmings, but the main issue in the challenge was the Mike The Sitch – who of course claims to have a big crush on Danica – gave his flowers to Julie, and added a couple of verbal thorns for good measure.

To the assembled group, he said, “Last night Julie stayed outside with me all night. The person who didn’t was Danica and that upset me.

“She let me down last night in a big way. That’s definitely why I’m giving Julie my flowers…” Continue reading »

Seriously… how can you not want a piece of this lady??

The younger men in the CBB house seem to have some ego issues, and simply cannot cope with rejection…

Ashley has made a huge drama out of the fact that Rhian doesn’t fancy him, blaming her squarely for that fact, and now Mike The Sitch has a problem with Danica because she just isn’t that into him.

My god.

More on that in a moment – including a clip of the hideous awkwardness that was his little foot stamp tantrum about it – but first, BB has just given the housemates a new task.

Here’s what it’s about…

Today our lovely housemates will be called to the Diary Room one by one where they’ll find a hand-tied bouquet of flowers. Each housemate will be told they can give the bouquet to any Housemate of their choice as a thank you or even as a romantic gesture if that’s what they fancy… Continue reading »

Plus the Oldies/Youngsters house divide deepens

Yesterday was Day 8 in the CBB house, and of course, Jasmine Lennard was the first of this summer’s crop of celeb housemates to be evicted.

And I have to say, she went somewhat more quietly than I thought she would, even though she did flout the no smoking indoors rule as soon as she heard she was offski.

But I had expected that in the few seconds she was given to say her goodbyes, she would do something a good deal more radical, like launch a tirade of abuse at someone or throw something…

However, she did totally blank Rhian, who cautiously approached Jasmine to say goodbye to her. Danica, wisely, chose not to even bother to attempt it.

But while Jasmine spent more of her interview with Brian stumbling saying, “Look, y’know, I mean…” back in the house, BB told the housemates that they would be nominating in ten minutes… Continue reading »

Plus shopping task twist revealed – it’s a trolley dash!

Today is Day 8 in the CBB house, and it’s seen yet more controversy and bitching as first, Rhian told Jasmine that Julie doesn’t actually care about her at all, and has merely been placating her to keep the peace, and Jasmine later told Julie what Rhian had said!

The revelation from Rhian came about last night when Jasmine and Rhian left the house to have a trolley dash as the climax to this week’s shopping task – more on that in a moment – and stewing on it overnight, Jasmine chose first thing this morning to tell Julie what Rhian had said.

Jasmine told Julie, “Rhian told me you’re not on my side and you’ve been playing me completely.”

In reply, Julie said, “Oh please, I can’t stand it – let me wake up. I can’t cope with this.

“You two were fine when you came back last night. You should have told me then…” Continue reading »

First of all I must apologise for the lack of CBB updates for the last couple of days; I’ve had a nasty icky stomach bug and therefore had to take a little time off, but I’m back and here’s what’s been happening in the house…

As fans of CBB will know, the housemates were set their first shopping task which saw them having to spend as much of a £1,000 budget as possible on a variety of items, from breakfast foods to silly clothes to fairground rides.

But of course, it wasn’t all fun and games and yesterday, housemates were told that for the Shot Til You Drop challenge, six of them were to enter a VIP area where they would be treated to rounds of expensive cocktails.

So Danica, Rhian, Harvey, Ashley, Coleen and Samantha volunteered themselves, however, to a man, they were disappointed to find out that the shots would, in fact, be alcohol-free… Continue reading »
