Tonight the audition road show rolls into Sheffield for the first time in X Factor history.

Confidence is high that Sheffield can deliver a star. We're about to find out.

First up tonight is a very nervous and scared 16 year old Nathaniel. He sings And I am Telling You I'm Not Going and it is incredibly weird. First up tonight and no way going through to the next round.

24 year old Katie is five months pregnant and could be a life changing opportunity for her. Perhaps with the winnings she could do something about those teeth. She sings There You'll Be and she sounds ok but you can hear the wind whistling through her teeth. The judges aren't too sure about how it will work having a pregnant woman on the show who is likely to give birth during the live shows. It's a yes though from the judges but once they've given her a yes they have second thoughts. Simon goes out to talk to them and says they think it's absolutely the wrong thing to do and that it would just be too stressful. The yes has become a no and it's all over for her.

28 year old Stephen McNally was once in boyband BB Mak and tonight he's auditioning in the hopes of making it as a solo artist. He sings Isn't She Lovely and Louis, Sharon and Simon say yes while Dannii isn't sure.

There are a host of yeses: Raquel comes in and does the splits and sings Rescue Me, Darryl sings If You're Not The One, Abbie sings Unchained Melody and has about 30 people with her.

33 year old mother of two, Andrea, lost her husband last year to a heart disorder and is auditioning for him today. She sings Con Te Partiro and the judges are moved by her amazingly emotional voice. It's absolutely yeses all around.

19 year old Kimberly is a country singer with some real spunk. She sings Redneck Woman and then to show her versatility she sings Show Me Heaven. It comes down to Simon after Dannii says no. He thinks that she might be one of the most annoying contestants they've ever had but puts her through.

The oldest person to audition for the X Factor is 84 year old Dorothy. She meets 69 year old Eric and while they get to know each other there are a host of yeses.

First up is Eric who sings What Do You Want To Make Those Eyes At Me For and he gets yeses from everyone but Louis so he's off to boot camp. Will Dorothy have the same success? She sings We'll Meet Again and Simon thinks she's a little minx. It's four yeses so her and Eric will be spending more time together at boot camp.

For the final audition of the night is Johnny Rocko who is terrible and is called a pub singer by Louis. It doesn't go down to well and Johnny starts speaking in Italian. After he leaves, they get an interpretation and it was a death threat. Louis leaves under a cloud.

Next week, it's the final week of auditions (thankfully).
