Week two of the Live Finals of the X Factor is here and after last weeks walk out by Sharon, this week she's back to make sure that Emily and Alisha have a mentor.
It's movie night tonight with our finalists sing songs that have made it onto the silver screen.
Celine Dion will be performing during the results show tonight in her first UK performance in 5 years and has been coaching everyone this week.

Well the girls sound great this week but their outfits are terrible. Whoever is responsible for their wardrobe needs to be given their marching orders. Louie agrees with Simon that girl power is back. Sharon thinks they're sassy and wonders who the Pussycat Dolls are. Dannii says that the noise from the audience says it all. Simon says that they're the best group they've ever had on the X Factor.

This is certainly a much better performance than last week. Ballads are much better to suited to him. Louis tells him he's picked a very good song but he's got no charisma, no personality and no confidence despite having a good voice. The audience boo him. Sharon loved the song and thought he sang it well but asks for more confidence. Simon thinks he looks petrified and he's making the audience afraid. Dannii thought he bought it home tonight and tells him that the cheering audience is for him.
Beverley
I HAve Nothing

The diva is out tonight! It feels like a middle-of-the-season type show tonight rather than a second week show. Great to see all the contestants really stepping up. Sharon tells Beverley that this show was made for her. Dannii says they saw that extra bit of diva unleashed tonight and thinks she's an inspiration to women. Simon thought that after last weeks disaster, that was amazing but it wasn't the best rendition he's ever heard. Louie is really proud to see the real person tonight and thinks she's the nicest person he's ever worked with on the show. Beverley then tells Dermot that she has to do something for all the girls out there and then hugs him.
Alisha
I Say A Little Prayer for You

It's still not that great a vocal performance from Alisha. I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear the judges slate her and even less surprised if she was in the bottom two again this week. Louie is happy he made the right decision last week and she's come out looking like a baby Whitney but she must work harder. Dannii still doesn't think they've seen her best yet. Simon doesn't think it was enough to win the competition. Sharon is proud of her for making her mark tonight.

Breaking Free

Are these two cheesy or what? I don't think this was their best vocal performance tonight either. Louis thought it was much better than last week but compares them to wind up Ken and Barbie dolls. Sharon can't agree and thinks she's a young Olivia Newton John. Dannii says that whenever they're around everyone smiles, even Simon. Simon loved them and thought they totally nailed.

Build Me Up Buttercup
0901 61 61 106
It's a resonable performance but the song choice was terrible. I certainly wouldn't be proud of that. Sharon hates to use one of Louie's phrases but she thinks he belongs in a boy band. Dannii wants to see him choose his own songs. Simon gives him two words of advice - Fire Louie. Louie doesn't care what the other judges think because it's up to the voters at home.
Rhydian
The Phantom of the Opera

As much as I don't like the guy, he really would suit musical theatre better than a TV show. Louie tells him that this show is going to change his life. Sharon has figured out what has been bugging her - He's more of a drama queen than she is. Simon says that that performance proved that he is potentially world class. Dannii says he is world class.
Emily
I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman
0901 61 61 108
What a cliché song choice! It was an average performance and rather shakey on some of those notes. Louie thought it was a nice, safe performance but thinks she's vulnerable tonight. Dannii thinks she's so likeable and adorable. Simon tells her her vocals were flat. Sharon tells her she did really well tonight and that she should be proud of herself.

If You Don't Know Me By Now

Very good song choice for these boys. I definitely preferred that over last week. Louie also thought that was better than last week but thinks Simon is working harder with the girls. Sharon thinks it's time for a new boy band and they're it. Dannii says they must be the first boy band who can sing in tune. Simon loved it and thought that vocally it was on the money.
Andy
Stayin' Alive
0901 61 61 110
Everyone was worried about this song being a really bad choice. They were right. Andy just doesn't have the attitude that the song requires. He's digging deep but barely scratching the surface. Louie gives it to him and tells him it was Karaoke. Sharon says it was a little weak but he did his best. Simon says on a positive note, he liked the dancers. Dannii says the audience loves him.

My Heart Will Go On

This is a huge task. Singing a Celine Dion song in front of Celine Dion. It's better than karaoke but she's still quite amateur in her performance. Sharon tells her she's really brave to sing that in Celine's presence and calls it the performance of the week. Dannii tells her she's going to be around for a very long time. Simon tells her she pulled it off. Louie is so happy with her and believes she can be in the final.
