Friday 30 November 2007 8:30pm - 9:00pm on ITV1.

Hit docusoap Airline is back, following the staff and passengers of low-cost carrier easyJet. There are tears, tantrums and traumas from customers demonstrating the full range of complaining techniques. But amid the missed flights and flaring tempers, everything runs smoothly for some passengers who find their travels a pleasure rather than a chore.

Rugby fan Jackie Thomas should be travelling from Bristol to Belfast with a group of friends to watch the Welsh team, Llanelli Scarlets, play. Unfortunately Jackie appears to have overlooked the fact that one of her party has been married for 20 years, which proves to be a very expensive oversight.

While Jackie attempts to get her party to Belfast without taking out a second mortgage, travelling out of Belfast are some VIPs: Very Important Parcels. Responsible for their safe transportation are passengers Gilchrist, Kerr and Dowie, but they’re keeping the contents a closely guarded secret.

Something that’s anything but a secret is how the Lichtmann family feel about being told they were late for their flight to Madrid. The family claim they were at the desk on time and refuse to pay to transfer onto the next day’s flight. With neither the Lichtmanns nor manager Mary Hosier prepared to admit wrongdoing, an increasingly heated stand-off ensues.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the airport, supervisor Gilbert Machingauta has the unenviable task of informing a plane full of passengers that their flight, the last of the day to Berlin, has been cancelled. Having already missed one flight today and with only 46 pence left in her pocket, nineteen-year-old Sarah Bothieher is visibly distressed when faced with a further 24 hour wait.
