Wayne Rooney is embarking on a search for the country's best undiscovered footballer in a new TV show for Sky One.

The 22 year England and Manchester United player will give an insight into the newlywed's life and personality on the show "Wayne Rooney's Street Striker.

A team of judges will whittle down 50 candidates before two finalists go head-to-head to win an, as yet, undisclosed prize.

Applications for the show will be out next month.
