Rachel is reunited with Angus. Rebecca struggles to deal with Declan’s behaviour. The arrival of Miranda’s sister makes waves. Zeke fights for Taylah. Has Sam come off her medication?

Rachel and Susan are forced to confront some painful memories this week as the day of Angus’s sentencing arrives. Rachel is shocked when she bumps into Angus in the school, but their bittersweet reunion is witnessed by Miranda, who tussles with her conscience over whether she should tell Susan. When Susan finally hears of it, Rachel works hard to convince her that nothing untoward is going on. In court, Rachel delivers a moving statement in which she apologises to her family and makes it clear that she shares the blame for what happened between her and Angus. Susan is touched by what she has to say, but both Rachel and Angus are devastated when the judge hands down a tough custodial sentence. On his way to jail, Angus passes Rachel a note to remind her of his love.

Elsewhere, Rebecca is unsure about how to tackle Declan’s wayward behaviour. She bans him from football and the school dance, only for Declan to defy her by turning up to footy training. Steve witnesses her helplessness and decides to step in. As football coach, he puts Declan through his paces in training to see if he deserves a place on the team. Rebecca worries that Steve is pushing him too hard, and things come to a head when Declan’s temper boils over and he raises his fist at Steve. But Steve’s programme of ‘tough love’ has its desired effect and soon Declan is talking honestly about his conduct.

Steve has other reasons to be cheerful this week as he and Miranda celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary. But there is an awkward moment when Miranda’s sister, Nicola, makes a surprise appearance. Nicola is expecting to attend a lavish party, only to discover that Miranda has been lying about her financial situation. It seems that Miranda has tried to keep her modest lifestyle a secret from her family. The two sisters reaffirm their bond and Nicola announces her intention to stay for a while – but beneath the veneer of family harmony, she is hiding a terrible secret. Nicola finds time to be alone with Riley, her adoptive nephew, and the pair share an illicit kiss. Riley knows they are playing with fire, but can he cool his aunt’s destructive desires?

Also this week, Zeke is determined to fight for Taylah. Dan suspects that Sam has come off her medication. Ty confesses that he has feelings for Libby. Carmella’s cousin Sienna arrives in Ramsay Street. Carmella returns from Italy but conceals her credit card debts from Marco. And the course of true love does not run smooth for Bridget and Ringo.
