Wisteria Lane may have a new resident with news that former Beverly Hill 90210 actor Brian Austin Green is considering a role on the drama series.

Green is lining up the role of “Keith, a single playboy who makes the women’s jaws drop” on Desperate Housewives.

It is also understood his character will prove popular with Eva Longoria Parker’s Gaby and possible Marcia Cross’s Bree.

Nothing has been signed yet but the actor is close to accepting the guest role for the upcoming seventh season.

Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria Parker has announced she will be involved in a new reality show.

The actress has said her restaurant in Hollywood called Beso will feature in the new series, but her role will be limited.

The project is being produced by her production company and while the 35-year-old actress will be involved the main focus will be on the restaurant’s staff.

"It will follow the employees that work at my restaurant. I'm not in it that much. I'm married and old now," Longoria Parker said.

Wisteria Lane is set to lose another resident with word that Kyle MacLachlan is departing the hit series.

Desperate Houswives will be without MacLachlan, who plays wheelchair-bound Orson Hodge, for most of the next season with news today the actor was leaving the series.

Word is Williams character will be connected in some way to returning villain Paul (Mark Moses) but nothing has been confirmed.

Paul was last seen in season 3 where he was locked away in the slammer serving time for a murder he didn’t commit.

52-year-od Moses has kept busy since leaving the show, playing Herman Phillips on Mad Men as well as a handful of other roles on the likes of Ghost Whisperer, Law & Order: SVU and Castle.
