Alien Storms

Sunday 21st March, 8.00pm

Although we have extreme weather on earth, it is nothing in comparison to the wettest, dustiest and most brutal Alien Storms. Radical weather is not uncommon in the solar system, and storms on other planets are bigger, more powerful and stranger compared to their counterparts on earth. There’s Jupiter’s Great Red Spot, a storm so vast that it has so far lasted 365 years and is the size of three Earth-sized planets; the incredible dust storms on Mars which last months; and Neptune’s extreme winds can reach speeds of 2,000 miles an hour.
