We’ve got some sneaky peek pics for you from the filming of Archie Mitchell’s funeral, but as you’ll see in them, the man himself is at the funeral!
Wearing a hat and dark coat, Larry Lamb was on the set for the filming, but his attire makes me wonder if it’s in fact going to turn out that Archie wasn’t in that coffin and he’s there to play the evil Archie who isn’t in fact dead!! Eek!
And as you’ll also see in the next pic, DCI Jill Marsden – who’s fronted murder investigations on the Square before – is back, being played by Sophie Stanton.
Here she is accompanying Peggy to Archie’s funeral…
Sophie’s character’s most notable investigation was when Phil was shot, and just like that time, this time around, there’ll be no shortage of suspects in the Who Killed Archie storyline. I can’t wait!
And you'll notice that Bradders is back too! So could this mean that he and Stacey are back together? I hope so - but why she's at the funeral when all she wants to do is spit on the grave, I can't imagine!
