This coming week on EastEnders is going to be THE week of the much talked about explosion... will nasty Nick live or die? Well, we still don't know but I guess we'll find out by Friday! So let's take a look at what's happening next week...

Monday 1st June Dotty and Nick get down to the nitty gritty on Monday in their bid to see poor Dot shuffle off the mortal coil and we begin our weekly visit to the Square by seeing Nick grinding up Dot's pills in order to see her off.
However, Dotty gets cold feet about it all so she comes up with a plan of her own... In the meantime, Dot's upset when she gets a phone call to say one of her oldest friends is very unwell and Nick makes things worse when he later lies and says he too took a call about Dot's friend - Mrs Lowe - saying she's died.
Also on Monday, Syd and Bradders fall out over Dot's 'illness', Whitney's in trouble for skipping her exams and Garry gets a wad of money together to buy Minty's half of the flat so that he, Dawn and Summer can be a "real family". Bless.

Tuesday 2nd June Dotty made a bold move yesterday... she put the crushed up pills in a mug for Nick instead of giving them to Dot, and when he finds out, things are going to get hairy!
While Nick's passed out in the hallway, Dotty runs to the launderette and confesses the entire plot to a stunned Dot, however, they don't get long to think about what to do as Nick comes thundering in, furious at his daughter's duplicity.
He grabs Dotty and pushes her into his car which he then crashes outside the cafe. Even more enraged by now, he drags Dotty into Ian's caff and from then on, things start to fall apart for the evil conman. Whitney's 'mystery man' distracts Nick long enough for Bradley to get people out but by then, a fire's well under way in the kitchen area...
So with Nick the only person who's in the burning building, brave Bradders decides to get him out, and after a struggle inside, just as they're about to get out, the whole place goes up!

Also on Tuesday, Shirley blags a job at the chippy and Dawn does likewise at the Vic while Max continues his attempts to win Tanya back.

Thursday 4th June In the aftermath of the explosion, Bradders lies in a hospital bed with burns and eye injuries while Dot has to deal with the police as well as trying to reassure Dotty that Nick's out of their lives for good. Poor Dot's day doesn't get any better when Max accuses her of being the one at fault for taking Nick back into the fold and her burden of guilt about Bradley's injuries is a heavy one.
After his rant at Dot, Max takes up vigil at Bradley's bedside after having tried - and failed - to talk Tanya and Syd into going with him, but, despite her initial refusal to go to the hospital, Tanya walks in and gently takes Max's hand as the two watch over Bradley.
Elsewhere, Garry's not happy about Dawn's modelling job and it seems the first cracks in their new relationship are starting to show, a fact that Phil soon picks up on and may want to use to his own advantage...
Also, Lucy tries to blackmail Christian over what started the cafe fire... she's as bad as Nick that one!

Friday 5th June The last of the week's visits to Walford see Whitney getting an ear'oling from Bianca about how she needs to buckle down before she ruins her life, so, a dutiful Whitney starts revising, but is she really going to sit her exams?
Well, apparently not because later in the day, her teacher arrives at the door and wants to know why Whitney hasn't been sitting her exam papers. A big good old Enders row ensues but they're interuptted when Whitney opens the door and sees and unexpected but familiar face... it's her mum, Debra.
Also, Pat worries about Dot and how everything's affected her this week when she visits and Dot doesn't seem like her old self while Shirley gets a case of the green-eyed monsters when she sees Phil's paying Dawn a lot of attention.
