While Ari scrambles to keep the studio interested in the project, Eric is busy managing some domestic issues between his new client and her needy boyfriend.

Eric gets an office on a shoddy stretch of Hollywood Boulevard. As a gift for E, Vince, Drama and Turtle scope out an antique desk with a rich Hollywood history, but learn that it's already been sold to an actor with whom they have their own colorful past (Gary Busey, as himself).

Ari preps for his annual meeting with an R&B super-diva (Mary J. Blige, as herself), but first must squash some twin-sibling office drama.

Vince and Drama wager on the romantic prospects of Eric and Turtle. Ari tries to come to grips with the indignation of his son attending public school.

Billy makes amends with Eric, who's still reluctant to work with him again. After his boyfriend breaks up with him, a devastated Lloyd takes a leave of absence, to Ari's dismay. Turtle goes in on his cousin Ronnie's latest shady investment opportunity.

The Medellin trailer is leaked on YouTube, and an enraged Billy blames Eric. In an effort to appear younger, Drama gets a prescription for a medical marijuana facility...so he can purchase the club's stylish cap. Ari and Lloyd (series regular Rex Lee) attempt to sabotage a deal with a long-time foe so that Vince can get his next project.

Eric has to give a Hollywood heavyweight some bad news. In the hopes of getting annexed to 90210, Drama takes the mayor of Beverly Hills out for a night on the town. Ari mishandles a top-secret script.

Billy submits Medellin to Cannes, but Eric thinks that the film still needs major editing. Vince gets in over his head while socializing at a Malibu beach house. Drama rekindles a romance with a 90s party girl, and brings Turtle (series star Jerry Ferrara) along as his wingman.

Drama plans a welcome back party for Vince at his new condo, but his obsession with keeping the place pristine puts a damper on the festivities. Ari and Mrs. Ari (series co-star Perrey Reeves) learn that their son may not get into their daughter's exclusive private school. Billy's insecurities prevent Eric and Vince from seeing the first cut of Medellin.

In a behind the scenes documentary looking at the filming of Medellin on location in Bogota, Colombia, Billy (new cast regular Rhys Coiro) and Eric (series star Kevin Connolly) clash on set over keeping the film on schedule. Billy, however, develops an infatuation with Vince's beautiful Colombian co-star that becomes increasingly disruptive to the production.

Meanwhile, Drama (series star Kevin Dillon) tries to angle for a part in the film, and Ari (series star Jeremy Piven) provides colourful commentary from his LA office.

When Vince, Eric, Drama and Turtle are forced to move out of the mansion, Eric moves in with Sloan, and Drama wants to buy an expensive condo. "Medellin" enters preproduction, but the choice of director comes as a surprise.

Eric and Vince are determined to get "Medellin" off the ground, but the rights to the script stand in their way. Feeling tense the day of the Five Towns premiere, Drama seeks relief at a massage parlor, but can't avoid Daily Variety. At the auto-body shop, Turtle meets a girl who shares his love for limited edition sneakers, but her overbearing father hampers his attempts to charm her.

A casting change puts "Medellin" back in the running for Vince. Ari and producer Nick Rubenstein (Adam Goldberg) must broker the deal between Amanda and the studio by day's end, but they can't use the most important tool of their trade - the cell phone - until after sundown, because it's Yom Kippur. Eric suspects that Vince and Amanda's relationship is sabotaging the deal. At the races, Drama saves a slow horse from the glue factory.

Drama is the butt of a joke on a reality show. Eric guesses Vince and Amanda's secret, while Ari is jealous of a former slacker frat brother.

After chastising Eric and Vince for avoiding her, Amanda makes Vince an offer he can't refuse. Babs (Beverly D’Angelo) orders Ari to fire an inept employee, but he must first overcome an unwanted side effect he's been experiencing since his breakup with Vince: compassion.
