Insta-Model will see judges Elle Macpherson and Dannii Minogue set three photo challenges per week for viewers of the Sky Living series.

The first challenge – running between May 27 and June 2 – is for viewers to submit their best “pout”.

The second asks for viewers’ best “fierce” pose from June 3 to June 6.

The last will see viewers submit their best “selfie” photos between June 6 and June 7.

If you want to take part, upload your photo to Instagram including the hashtag #BINTM and either #pout, #fierce or #selfie.

Entrants must be 18 or over.

Wayne Lineker, who has had his fair share is issues over the past few years, will make his first appearance on the ITV2 series during its Marbella premiere special.

Lineker owns the Linekers chain of bars in foreign party destinations such as Ibiza, Tenerife and Zante.

The show returns on June 2.

A rather amateur-looking casting call has gone out to find a group of twenty-somethings to feature in a structured-reality series entitled Made in Brixton.

However, with no production company attached to the casting call it is possible that this is all just an elaborate hoax.

The casting notice suggests that the participants won’t be paid to feature in the show and that they are looking to show “a glimpse at real life below the river”.

Since when has Brixton and south London been referred to as being “below” the Thames?

It all seems a tad suspicious but if it does indeed turn out to be legitimate, then good luck to them.

David Threlfall and Amanda Redman will play the roles of Cooper and his wife Dove respectively in the film produced by Left Bank Pictures.

Simon Nye’s script focuses on the dilemma the much-loved comedian faced when he fell in love with assistant Mary Kay and embarked upon a relationship that would last 17 years. Tommy was married to Gwen, whom he adored and affectionately nicknamed Dove. Tommy was unable to choose between Dove and Mary, and his untimely death live on air in 1984 meant that he never did.

David Threlfall (Shameless, Nowhere Boy) will play the comedian and  Amanda Redman (New Tricks, Little Dorrit) takes the role of Dove. When Tommy’s extensive touring started to affect their home life, Dove decided she couldn’t go on the road with him any longer. Whilst Tommy travelled the length and breadth of the country with his own brand of visual humour and ingenious magic tricks she knew she had to remain at home to run the house. Their children, Tom Junior and Vicky, needed her and maternal Dove knew her own mind – “She’s actually not much like a dove.  She’s strong.  Kills first, asks questions later”.

The late nights and post-show drinks were taking their toll on his health, and Dove tried to convince him that TV work was enough. But touring was where Tommy’s heart lay: “A miner goes down a mine, a stand up comedian stands on a stage and looks the audience in the eye.”

But Tommy found he couldn’t tour alone and asked stage manager Mary Kay if she would join him. Mary was gentle, diligent and good at her job. She would arrange his props and tricks, flash a warm smile and reassure an often-tense Tommy before he took to the stage.  He needed someone to bolster his confidence and it was Mary’s loving support that made the difference to his performances. The pair fell in love, and just like that, Tommy became torn between two equally devoted women.

The 1 x 120 film will also reveal Tommy’s working relationship with his agent, Miff Ferrie, who managed his career until Tommy’s shocking death in front of millions of television viewers during Live From Her Majesty’s on 15 April 1984.  A dour Scot, Miff had an acrimonious working relationship with Tommy often trading insults in bitter but hilarious exchanges. 

Filming will begin in London this June with former London Weekend Television Producer and award-winning magician, John Fisher, acting as a Consultant on the drama.  John was a personal friend of Tommy Cooper’s and is the author of “Always Leave Them Laughing”, a definitive biography of the comedy legend’s life.

Tommy will be executive produced by Left Bank Pictures Chief Executive Andy Harries (Strike Back, DCI Banks) and produced by Lucy Dyke (The Ice Cream Girls).  The Director is Benjamin Caron (Derren Brown: The Heist, My Mad Fat Diary, Scott & Bailey).  Writer Simon Nye’s credits include How Do You Want Me, Reggie Perrin and the fabled comedy Men Behaving Badly.

The casting of the role of Mary will be announced in due course.

ITV’s Director of Drama Commissioning Steve November has commissioned the film.

“Tommy Cooper was an ITV legend and so it feels very fitting to be telling his story on ITV,” said Steve.  “Left Bank have brought together wonderful talent in Simon Nye, David Threlfall and Amanda Redman to tell the story.” 

Andy Harries commented on behalf of Left Bank Pictures: “Few comics have had such a lasting influence on UK culture as Tommy Cooper . The man was a comedy giant who spent his final years juggling his hugely successful public persona with a private passion for two women.  Just like that.”

With Davina McCall at the helm, players must try to keep hold of a million pounds in real cash. But in an exciting new final twist to the show, players can double the money they’ve managed to keep and walk away with a life-changing amount of cash.

There are now just 7 questions between our players and a fortune, but it’s going to be tougher than ever to make it to the final question. Players must be brave and have nerves of steel to beat the drop, as one false move could literally see thousands of pounds drop through the floor.

Whoever gets to the end and wins the cash will then be faced with one of the hardest decisions of their lives – risk it all on one last question for a chance to double their winnings. And they need to make that choice live on TV.

For the first time ever, teams of four can also take on The Million Pound Drop. They might be friends, family or work colleagues. Their relationships will be put to the ultimate test. With the clock ticking, the pressure is on.

Once again there will also be some celebrity duos playing live in the hope of bagging some serious cash for their chosen charities.

I love hosting the show, it is always incredibly tense and these new twists are going to make it even more nail-biting. Is anyone brave enough to risk it all for the chance to double their money? We’ll just have to wait and see!”

Head of Entertainment for Channel 4, Justin Gorman said: “The Million Pound Drop Live is well and truly established as the pivotal heart-stopping gameshow for both the players – onset and at home – and viewers and with these editorial twists it undoubtedly ups the ante.”

So far, viewers have witnessed a whopping £215,200,000 being placed on the drop, with a massive £6,500,000 being won. Previous series have seen some huge winners with the biggest being Lou and Dom who walked away with £300,000 in October last year.

Viewers at home can play with a virtual million pounds alongside the contestants with the hugely successful play along online game or with The Million Pound Drop mobile app which has now been downloaded over 1.7 million times making it Channel 4’s most successful programme app.

It involves Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch.

“We had a scene with him where we saw him actually take a shower,” director J.J. Abrams told Conan O’Brien on his talkshow. “It’s not in the movie but we have this. It’s one of those things we ended up cutting.”

After the clip was shown, O’Brien quipped: “He’s not enjoying that shower very much.”

Abrams replied: “That’s the shower of evil!”

The return date has been set for the ninth season of The Only Way is Essex.

The reality series will hit screens on Sunday, June 2 at 10pm on ITV2.

Kicking off with a ‘The Only Way is Marbs’ special, the series will feature all the usual suspects such as Joey Essex, Jess Wright, James ‘Arg’ Argent, Sam Faiers, Chloe Sims, Lucy Mecklenburgh, Gemma Collins, Lauren Pope and Mario Falcone.

ITV got the jump on the competition by obtain the exclusive video from the Woolwich attack.

A witness to the murder recorded the now famous video at the scene of the suspect clutching a meat cleaver in bloodied hands and ITV were the first to get hold of it.

ITV later sat down with the witness and spoke to him regarding what he saw and whether he was scared to talk to the suspect at the time.

In the same week that Simon Cowell locked in his X Factor USA judges, the UK panel has also been decided with Osbourne returning to the show for the first time since 2007.

Osbourne will be joined by long-time judge Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger, with Tulisa Contostavlos making way for Osbourne.

Earlier this week it was announced that Cowell would be joined on the X Factor USA panel by three women: Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio.

The Dominic Mitchell drama will return after its successful three-part run this year.

The drama was first developed by the BBC Drama Production team in Salford and writer Dominic Mitchell was discovered through ‘Northern Voices’, a BBC Writersroom competition.

Series two revisits the cauldron of Roarton where the living and the undead have reached a fragile peace. After the shocking events of series one, Kieren is hoping to get on with his second life but the arrival of new and explosive characters throws those plans into disarray. Battle lines are drawn and all will be judged.

Writer Dominic Mitchell says: “I am absolutely delighted and thrilled to be given this fantastic opportunity to continue exploring the characters and world of In The Flesh.”

Zai Bennett, Controller, BBC Three, says: “In The Flesh was a fantastically original and engaging drama for BBC Three. I’m delighted Dominic and the team will be able to tell more stories from the riveting characters and engaging world they created.”

In The Flesh was commissioned by Ben Stephenson, Controller BBC Drama and Zai Bennett, Controller for BBC Three.

It is made by BBC Drama Production North and the executive producers are Hilary Martin and Ann Harrison-Baxter.

In The Flesh will film later this year and transmit in 2014 on BBC Three.
