Returning to Five this week is the animation following the madcap antics of a group of animals in a colourful place called Funky Town. The action revolves around the Milk Bar, Funky Town’s very own café, run by Clara the bossy hen and Dippy the forgetful cow. Café regulars include Norris the naughty rat, Amadeus the wise old wolf, Chipolata the cream cake-loving pig, and many more equally zany animals.

In this morning’s episode, a Scottish squirrel’s bagpipe playing drives Clara’s customers away – straight to Norris’s new Milk Bar! Could some foul play be afoot?

In ‘The Great Grass Pudding Disaster’ on Tuesday, Chipolata must head to the grass pudding factory to repair the machinery so that she can make the world’s biggest pancake.

Wednesday’s instalment is ‘The City Farm’. After returning to Funky Valley to see her cousin, Chipolata longs for the calm of the countryside. Can her Milk Bar friends help her love the town once more?

On Thursday, in ‘The Café Inspector’, the Good Milk Bar Guide inspector is due to arrive at the Milk Bar to review the food, but Norris turns up first and eats everything! Can Amadeus save the day with some unfinished cake?

And Friday’s episode, ‘Demolition Rat’, sees Dippy organise a petition when she finds out that the Milk Bar is going to be demolished. But should she believe everything Norris tells her?

These delightful five-minute tales are a spin-off from Five’s ‘Funky Valley’. The adorable farm animals from that series move to the town and embark on a whole new set of adventures, guaranteed to enchant and entertain.
