Alexandra De-Gale has been removed from the Big Brother house as a result of intimidating behavior that she was repeatedly warned about.

The decision was based on a conversation that Alexandra had with Darnell where she allegedly told him that "I'm not throwing water at anyone. It's bigger that that... personal offence is never forgotten. Do you know what I mean? We are just inside the house. I've got a very, very, very, very, very strong team outside the house.

Five has signed an exclusive three-year deal with UEFA for the 2009-12 UEFA Cup.

Under the terms of the deal, which begins in the 2009-2010 season, Five will have the first pick of matches in each round thereby bringing the very best games of the tournament to viewers on a free-to-air basis. Five will also have exclusive rights to the UEFA Cup Final. In total the deal will guarantee 15 games a year from 2009-10 to 2011-12.

For the first time, TV rights for the tournament from the Group Stage onwards have been sold collectively rather than by the individual clubs involved. Five negotiated the agreement with sports marketing agency T.E.A.M, who are distributing the TV rights on behalf of UEFA.

Due to the popularity of the MySpace MTV presenter search, MTV are making a TV show about it called Pick Me MTV.

The guys at MySpace and MTV have been running a presenter search to find a new rising star to front the MTV news bulletins. They've had shed loads of audition videos - so many in fact that they've decided to make a TV show about the search. It's called Pick Me MTV and will follow the fortunes of the lucky wannabes who have submitted a video and made it through to the televised auditions.

Connie Fisher has described her life as “madness” since leaving The Sound of Music.

Talking on the breakfast TV show, the winner of How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? revealed she’s taking no time off before her next project after a “tiring and exhilarating” run as Maria von Trapp.

“My whole year has been planned out for me,” said Connie. “I’m recording my second album at the moment so I’m in and out of the studio. I’m about to film with ITV as well, so I’ve got lots of lines to learn and lots of other mountains to climb!”

Reacting to rumours that her upcoming tour faces the axe after poor tickets sales, Connie said: “It’s been postponed.”

Dancing on Ice judge, Nicky Slater, told GMTV this morning that he could be fired for giving Suzanne Shaw a controversially low score on Sunday’s show.

Nicky defended his frosty comments saying, “It’s ‘Dancing On Ice’, it’s not ‘Lifting On Ice.’”

However, the ice-skating star revealed he could be in hot water after his remarks caused a row among the judges last week.

“There is a bit of an issue here. The skaters are given the choreography of what to do. So in a way, Suzanne is getting caught between me asking for something which is a balanced routine, and what she’s been given. So I might get sacked actually, because I’m actually questioning the balance of the routine. So in a way, I should just talk about what is performed.”

Violent comedy crime caper centred around three groups of villains intent on retrieving a missing diamond. Two friends team up with a pugilistic gypsy to fix a boxing match, but their opponent also arranges some dodgy betting with the courier of the stolen diamond, who subsequently goes missing. When a gangster from New York arrives on the scene, things really start to get complicated.

Grange Hill’s Zammo has finally grown up - he’s about to become a father.

Lee MacDonald, who played Zammo in the gritty kid’s show, told GMTV viewers his wife is months away from having a baby boy.

Celebrating the 30 year anniversary of Grange Hill this Friday, Lee revealed on LK Today the name of his baby: "I got married on the 10th September last year, and I’ve got a baby on the way which is due on May 22nd called Harry."

Lee also admitted his current job owes much to having played the iconic role of Zammo, saying: "I present for Sky on a property show - and the only reason I got that, is the lady who runs it is a Grange Hill fan."

Suzanne Shaw let slip on GMTV this morning that she’s been ‘possibly’ practising one of the most daring moves performed on Dancing On Ice – the head banger.

Speaking on Entertainment Today, accident prone Suzanne responded to the head banger hear’say, revealing: “We’ve been practising - possibly - the head banger. I went to see my boyfriend yesterday and he was like, ‘You’ve had so many late nights haven’t you?’ I said ‘No I’ve not, I had a really good night’s sleep’. I looked in the mirror and all my eyes were bloodshot because the momentum of the swinging head banger just makes your eyes go pop."

Despite a cracked rib and head injury, Suzanne said the excitement of performing live leaves her pain free: “It’s a minute and a half of pure adrenaline – you don’t feel the pain because the adrenaline is just pumping through you so fast.”

Alan Carr was reunited with his old school friend Michael Underwood on GMTV this morning.

Reminiscing about their days as cheeky school boys at Weston Favell School, Michael said: “Someone told me there was a picture of me in the corridor that went ‘He went here’. Now there’s motivation.”

“I was told someone drove a car into the computer block,” said Alan. “Is that right? I’m sure it’s not.”

Talking about his new show, Alan Carr’s Celebrity Ding Dong, the comedian admitted he’s found some guests a handful: “Johnny Vegas started having a go at this woman in the front row with no teeth, saying ‘What are you looking at?’ She was even more drunk than he was… it got turned into the Jeremy Kyle show.”

The tables were turned on Alan when he took part in Entertainment Today’s, Alan Carr’s Civilian Dong Ding, in which members of the public asked Alan the questions.

Westlife joined GMTV this morning to talk about why their still together and going strong after 10 years.

Speaking to Lorraine Kelly, Nicky Byrne said, “We’ve been 10 years together this year as a band. I’m pretty happy with that – I never thought we’d make it that long, so this tour is representing and celebrating that.”

Shane Filan said their close friendship was the key to them all getting along. “We have a lot of respect for each other individually. There’s no hidden agendas in Westlife - we’re very honest with each other.”

Myleene Klass joined GMTV this morning to talk about life with her baby Ava.

The former Hear’Say star revealed Ava’s dad, Graham Quinn, has taken a back seat in her life: “He does feel a bit left out sometimes, which I try to avoid. But it’s inevitable, it really is. The first thing that happens when you wake up is you’re looking after the baby. And you want to as well.”

Myleene added Graham’s got the short end of the stick in the bedroom department too.

“We all stay in the same bed. We’re like something out of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. In the morning all our feet are hanging out the bed. And she sleeps like a starfish. Graham definitely has the bad side because she just kicks him in the back!”
