i am having problem with my son writing stories. He is more of a facts and figure person and could memorise instantly. But his downside is the writing imaginatively.

Please suggests ways to improve his writing in non fiction and fiction. My son is 6 yrs old and attends to william davis primary school in bethnal green, His name is Naseem and he is in yr 2

Thanks toggerlogger (aka togs) - glad you like the site Currently forum view is sorted by latest activity (either post added or comment added) -- have you tried clicking on "last active" or one of the other column headings to change the ordering? Does that help?

I have an Idea! Since the above banner is blue, and Shows is aslo blue, but the others are other colours, why not have the shows as green?

PS Tui, your comments went into the moderation queue temporarily -- you'll get notified if this happens (big red sign) -- just be patient and they'll turn up. This happens when the Akismet spam service is down (usually very temporarily), like it was the other day. (We don't run the Akismet spam service.)

Because anyone can add comments, we have a spam protection system in place. There must have been some words you used which triggered it to go into the moderation queue. If you see that message in the future, just realise it won't automatically appear on the site but will shortly. (It's up there now.) Don't worry, your comments aren't lost

Hi guys. I posted something on the Office US but was held in the preview screen. clicked the mouse several times and now you have 5 repeats of my comment. Sorry about that, please eradicate all but the first one. I like the site, hope it's teething ok. Cheers from Steven.

I believe the time issue has now been sorted.

If you're having trouble posting comments, it might have been your internet connection at the time -- I know that broadband has been really slow over the last 1-2 weeks and lots of people are complaining about it. Let me know if you experience this again.

I'm looking into the timezone issue.

The "love the show" issue is that it's set by default to show only the first few people - I'll change this. Thanks.

Have you set your timezone differently in your settings? Let me check on that.

I'll add a note saying recent comments are at the top.

Comments aren't threaded on Throng like they are on Idolblog, I think that's why you're confused.

Let me think about the lines between comments though.

Add to your image tag:

class="borderleft"

or

class="borderright"

to wrap text around images.

Hi - currently there are no smiley faces - Tui is using that for his profile picture.

Currently you can do bold, italics etc by using tags:

<b>bold</b>

becomes:

bold

I haven't decided about whether to have newest comments at the top or bottom - most blogs have the newest comments at the bottom. Will have a think about it.

Jacob - currently the bigger the show, the more content there is on the site about it. In the future we might change this to the number of views in total/per week.
