News from Hollyoaks

Hollyoaks star Stephanie Waring has told Reveal magazine that she felt “insecure” about her body when she returned the show after having her daughter, Mia in 2005.

30 year old Stephanie told the magazine, "I think any woman has hang-ups about their body after having a baby. “The one area I've never really been comfortable with since having Mia is my boobs because I breastfed.

"It was always in my head, but I was more conscious of it when I rejoined Hollyoaks."

Stephanie went on to describe being a mum as “the most rewarding thing" she’s ever experienced, and she added that she remains “happily in love” with her partner, Dan.

Meanwhile, Digital Spy has revealed that Kieron Richardson is all set to compete in this year's Dancing on Ice. 23-year-old Kieron, who of course plays Ste Hay, apparently embarked on intensive training in preparation for the show.

A source from the show told DS, "Kieron's already training hard and he's looking forward to competing against some of the great names in the lineup.

"He has a lot to live up to, though, if he wants to follow in the footsteps of his close friend and former co-star Chris Fountain."

Chris of course played Justin Burton on Hollyoaks for six years before he left in March. He then went on to star in Dancing on Ice but lost out the winning spot to Suzanne Shaw in 2008.

Kieron will be competing against Eternal singer Kelly Bryan, ex-Corrie actor Danny Young, Holby City's Jeremy Sheffield and retired footballer Peter Shilton. In addition, actresses Emily Atack and Danniella Westbrook will be on the show as well as popstar Sinitta, Gordon Ramsay's wife Tana and Heather Mills.

The host of Dancing on Ice, Phillip Schofield said, "It's a great lineup. When I went down the list there were two or three times I went, 'Oh my God, you're serious'."

Dancing On Ice will be on our screens in January.
