Spencer and Dave
Wanting to find out what makes the SU Bar popular, Spencer turns up for a bit of research, and gets chatting to Dave whilst he’s there.
Shooting a few games of pool, Spencer asks everyone at the SU Bar back to The Loft, and takes the party back there where he happily provides all his new ‘friends’ with free alcohol.
Feeling that Spencer is being taken advantage of, Dave collects £20 from everyone in attendance, making sure that Spencer doesn’t finish the night too badly out of pocket.
Calvin isn’t at all happy when he returns to The Loft to find Spencer giving out free drinks, and is quick to accuse Dave of taking advantage of Spencer.
Dave doesn’t waste time in turning the accusation around as he finds out that Spencer doesn’t even know how much he’s paying Calvin as a salary, pointing out that Calvin is in fact the one that is taking advantage of Spencer here.
Snapping at Dave’s words, Calvin punches Dave to the ground, and then proceeds to order everyone to leave.
Suzanne and Neville
Neville is suspicious of a young man’s ID at The Dog, as he is convinced to pour the guy a pint his suspicions are confirmed however as Suzanne recognises it to be their godson Duncan.
Neville is angry to have been tricked, Duncan meanwhile is smug to have got one over on Neville, and is pleased to have Suzanne’s attention.
When Duncan asks if there are any jobs going, Suzanne suggests that Neville offers him a paper round at Drive N Buy, and Ricky is handed the job of showing Duncan the ropes.
Duncan and Ricky don’t get on particularly well, just when it seems that they’re starting to get on a little better Duncan lands Ricky in trouble however, and having thrown the newspapers in the pond, Duncan blames it all on Ricky as he rushes into Suzanne’s with a grin on his face, smug that his godparents will believe his story over Ricky’s.
Archie
With India having reclaimed her room in halls, Archie is left homeless, and goes crawling back to his former friends Kris, Zak, and Elliot to see if they’ll provide him with shelter.
Asking Kris if he can return to the flat, Kris agrees that it’s okay if Zak and Elliot say yes, but warns him that the chances of that happening are incredibly slim.
Zak is clearly not at all happy about the prospect of Archie returning, after he’s told Archie no his expression soon softens however as he clearly doesn’t want to see his old friend out on the streets.
Elliot is the hardest person to convince, ultimately he does allow Archie to stay in the flat however, although he does warn him that they’ll never be friends again after Archie’s ultimate betrayal in sleeping with Leila behind his back.
