- Archie goes to the police to tell them that Lydia killed Sarah
- The pressure almost becomes too much for Lydia to handle
- Ste is pleased to see Amy back in the village
Archie
Now knowing that Lydia killed Sarah, Archie goes to the police station in order to tell them what he’s found out.
As Archie tells the police what he’s learned, he’s disappointed at how dismissive they are of his new information, and is left feeling angry as he leaves the station having accomplished very little; he knows that Lydia is responsible for Sarah’s death, but can’t understand why the police aren’t more willing to act on what he’s told them.
Having achieved very little, Archie heads back into the village to confront Lydia in front of Sarah’s friends and family.
Mike, Hannah, and Lydia
Mike is pleased when Amy turns up for Sarah’s funeral, Lydia is feeling incredibly guilty however, knowing that she is the one responsible for Sarah’s death.
Hannah and Mike both give emotional speeches at the funeral, and it’s then Lydia’s turn to have her say.
As the pressure begins to mount, Lydia has a vision of Archie bursting into the church with the police, and cries out in front of everyone that it was an accident, before running out of the church in a flood of tears.
At the wake, Lydia decides that it’s now time to have her say, but this time Archie really does burst in, and starts accusing Lydia of being responsible for Sarah’s death.
Kris stops Archie from causing any more of a scene as he shows him to the door, and a lot of people in attendance look at Archie in absolute disgust for causing a scene on a day like this.
Ste and Amy
Ste is pleased to have Amy back in the village, and is happy that Leah and Lucas now have both of their parents to look after them.
Despite Ste’s delight at having Amy back, Amy is obviously finding it difficult to be back with her children, and is clearly still uncomfortable to be around them, especially after spending so much time away.
