Sam resorts to violence. Summer Bay pays tribute

to a cherished resident. Ric and Matilda are finally
reunited. Cassie is stunned when Henk turns up at
her door. Annie tells the truth about Aden.
Sam is crumbling under the pressure of harbouring
a fugitive – and things are about to get worse. She
has been hiding Johnny in the Holdens’ annexe,
and when Jazz overhears her talking to him about
“being caught” she assumes that Sam is having an
affair. When she tells Sam that she knows what is
going on, Sam is relieved to realise that this is not
strictly true. Later, she warns Johnny that they
need to be more careful – but they are almost
caught again when Rory appears around the
corner. Sam hides Johnny just in time, but Johnny
overhears Rory talking about Sally and tells Sam
that she has got one day to bring Sally to him.
When Sam later walks in to find Johnny attacking
Matilda, Ric and Jazz, she is forced to take drastic
action and belts him over the head with a cricket
bat. But can the saga really be over? Oblivious to the drama unfolding across town,
Cassie is home when she hears a knock at the
door – and opens it to find Henk standing before
her. Cassie does not know what to think about this
development: on one hand, she still loves Henk as
strongly as ever, but can she really get back
together with the man who left her when she
needed him most – alone, pregnant and HIVpositive?
Henk admits that he let her down, but
claims that he has come back to make amends
and wants to be there for her. Can Cassie trust him
to keep his word?
Back in the Bay, another reunion is taking place
– but this one may have more of a future in it. After
a touching speech by Leah at Dan’s memorial
service, Ric and Matilda decide to put aside all
their problems and get back together. Matilda tells
Ric that she will be fine with anything that Viv
throws their way regarding the baby, just as long
as they are honest with each other. And in the
wake of Johnny’s attack, the pair decide that they
should move in together – a plan to which Sally
gives her blessing.
Also this week, visiting Sally gives Annie a new
perspective on her crisis of faith and the courage
to tell the truth about Aden. Jazz decides to
abandon her pursuit of Tony. Sam feels guilty as
she is praised for her heroism and tries to get rid of
evidence that she harboured Johnny – but will he
expose her when he comes out of his coma?
