say his goodbyes. Cassie makes an

The stress of concealing her role in Johnny’s death
is getting too much for Sam, who is terrified that
the truth is about to come out. Rachel already
suspects that she was involved, so Sam knows
that she must do something quickly to divert
suspicion away from herself. With the investigation
closing in on her, Sam resorts to shocking
measures to keep herself out of trouble. After
trawling the local bars to find a man willing to help
her with her dangerous plan, Sam returns home
covered in blood and bruises. When Jack and
Rory get home, she tells them that she has been
attacked by Johnny’s ‘real killer’, who turned up at
the house to threaten her into keeping quiet about what she supposedly saw at the hospital. The others seem to buy it, but for how long?
When Jazz hears about the attack, she thinks that Sam is lying. She already believes that Sam is seeing someone else, and thinks that the bruises are a result of a fight with this secret lover. She presents this theory to Sam, who goes along with it to keep the truth under wraps; but Jazz then blackmails her into helping with her latest plan to win Tony back. When Tony and Rachel are due to go out for the night, Jazz gets Sam to spike Rachel’s drink with a laxative – which soon takes poor Rachel out of the picture and results in Tony taking Jazz instead. And when large quantities of alcohol are thrown into the mix, it looks like Jazz is about to succeed in her sneaky mission to seduce poor Tony...
Ric has his own problems this week as Viv’s husband, Noel, continues in his attempts to blackmail him into taking part in an illegal fight.
Noel has his goons steal Ric’s van, telling him that worse will follow if he keeps refusing to cooperate.
Happily, it is not all bad news for Ric: things are moving forward with Matilda, and the pair have decided to move in together.
Also this week, Ric convinces Drew to come back to the Bay and say his goodbyes properly.
Miles makes plans for Sally’s farewell. Cassie makes an annoucement that could have lifechanging repercussions for Aden. And Sam has some dramatic news for Jack that puts him in an impossible position.
