home and away

Rachel worries about Henk’s next move. Bruce takes hostages at gunpoint. Drew is faced with a difficult decision. Fisher enlists help from an unlikely source. Cassie’s feelings may end up putting her in danger.

Rachel’s concerns about Brad’s best man, Henk – who tried to force himself on Rachel a few years ago –intensify this week. She is worried that Martha is getting invoved with Henk, but he insists that he is a changed man and neither Martha nor Rachel should be scared of him. Regardless, Rachel warns Martha that Henk is bad news. When Henk finds out what Rachel has done, he realises that she cannot let what happened between them go. He decides that the best thing to do is come clean to Brad –a move which shocks Rachel. Is Henk telling the truth about being a reformed character? Perhaps against her better judgement, Rachel reconsiders and decides to tell Henk that coming clean to Brad is not necessary. But has she spoken too soon?

Another volatile relationship causing havoc this week is the one between Bruce Campbell and his grandkids. Geoff has been thrown out, and is worried about his sister Annie living alone with their hot-tempered grandfather. It also appears that the farm has become too much for Bruce, so Annie and Geoff try to convince him to sell it. This suggestion does not go down well with Bruce – and when Lucas heads out to the farm to check on Annie, who has missed some school, he finds himself trapped there with Annie –Bruce has seriously gone off the rails and is holding them there at gunpoint. And when a concerned Tony arrives, Bruce starts firing at him. How will this stand-off end?

Drew is also faced with a difficult situation this week. Having rashly agreed to a drag race with Denni, he is now reeling from the realisation that his disgruntled ex Lisa set it all up so that she could humiliate him in front of her new man. Drew wants to withdraw from the race, but Dom informs him that it is not that simple –Denni is a bad guy and will not take ‘no’ for an answer. The race time is set, but will Drew turn up?

Also this week, Tony’s attempts to integrate Jazz back into the Bay end in disaster. Fisher grudgingly enlists Lucas’s help so that he can get his IT skills up to speed. Lisa makes Drew pay. And Cassie finds herself drawn to Henk –but when she impulsively kisses him, he reacts with surprising anger. Has he really changed his ways?

Coming Soon Martha realises that she is falling for a friend. Denni’s vendetta with Drew ends in tragedy. Annie makes a difficult decision. Lucas and Drew both deal with their grief. Dom destroys some crucial evidence. Rachel is forced to act against Henk.

Comments

Dom is not the full quid but he is not totally stupid.

He no doubt acts a buddy of Drew, but is probably working with Denni.

Dom's real interest is not the race, or Drew, - but Belle is high on his agenda.
