Annie finds out who poisoned the sheep. A worried Matilda decides that it is time to make some changes. An old face returns from Rachel’s past. Colleen causes a catastrophe.

The Summer Bay kids –especially Annie and Geoff –are having problems this week. Annie is worried about how tough Bruce is being on Geoff, but she does not know that this is only part of what is bothering her brother. Geoff is overwhelmed by guilt because he was the one who poisoned the sheep, and is terrified about what Bruce will do when he finds out. When tests reveal the type of poison used, Annie realises that her brother is the culprit. She is then shocked when Geoff joins Bruce in blaming Aden, who has an alibi. Later that night, Bruce –convinced that someone is out to get him –stands guard over his sheep with a shotgun. He fires at an intruder in the dark –only to discover that he has just shot his own grandson... Has Geoff suffered the ultimate punishment?

Matilda is also more than a little stressed this week. Having managed to avoid trouble after the cheating incident thanks to Sally, she is upset to discover that she failed her maths exam and worries that she has messed up her chance of passing the year. She focuses her attention on studying hard for the next exams, but finds it difficult to concentrate when her rowdy flatmate Martha keeps having friends over. The tension between the two is getting worse –and eventually Matilda decides that she is only going to pass her exams if she makes some serious changes. It may be time for Matilda to move back home...

Changes could also be ahead for Sally, who admits to Leah that she is having second thoughts about the wedding. Aware that Sally is getting nervous, Brad decides to press on with the preparations regardless. Rachel is helping her brother out, but she is horrified when she learns that he has picked old friend Henk Van Patten to be his best man. The truth is that Henk forced himself on Rachel a few years ago, and she is anxious about seeing him again. She tries to dissuade Henk from coming, but he insists he is a changed man. When Rachel explains the situation to Leah, her friend tells her that Brad needs to know the truth. Rachel is reluctant to cast a shadow over her brother’s wedding, but will her silence put someone else in danger?

Elsewhere this week, Rory has trouble settling into his new school. Colleen causes a catering catastrophe. And Martha, struggling with the fact that Sam and Rory are back in Jack’s life, wonders if there is still a chance that she and her ex-husband could reconcile...
