Sally is overwhelmed at her farewell concert. A confrontation results in tragedy. Things may finally be looking up for Aden. Noel resorts to extreme measures to get to Ric. Someone from Morag’s past arrives in the Bay. Cassie says goodbye.

It is the end of an era this week as Sally finally

leaves Summer Bay for pastures new. A farewell
event has been arranged at the school in her
honour but, instead of the series of boring
speeches she had anticipated, Sally is moved to
discover that it consists of a special concert. Sally
cannot believe how many people are there, how
much work has gone into the event and how
everybody managed to keep it all a secret.
However, the surprises are not over: special guests
Pippa, Carly and Steven are also there. Sally is overwhelmed by the love and support that her friends are giving her, but when she arrives home after the concert there is a nasty surprise waiting for her. Somebody has burgled Summer Bay House! Who would want to ruin Sally’s last day?

Sally’s departure is not the only big news this week, as the Sam saga finally reaches its dramatic conclusion. When Jack catches his wife searching for Johnny’s incriminating letter, the two end up having a huge fight. Sam falls to the ground, landing heavily, with the result that she loses her baby. The tragedy is the final straw for Jack, who endures days of turmoil before finally calling the police and telling them about Sam’s role in Johnny’s death – but when the cops arrive at the hospital, Sam has disappeared. Things get even worse when the police inform Jack that Sam left a note with them detailing all of her husband’s professional wrongdoings. The note is Sam’s last attempt to dig herself out of this nightmare, but it seems as if someone has tried to silence her when the troubled young woman is found dead on the beach. Did Jack take drastic measures to protect himself?

Elsewhere, Aden is recovering well after getting trapped in the roof collapse at the Diner. He is suffering from a slight case of memory loss, which has the effect of making him forget what the argument with his father, Larry, was all about. Larry is delighted at the thought of a clean slate, and looks forward to rebuilding his relationship with his son. But will his attempts to bury the past be successful?

Also this week, Ric is presented with an interesting business proposal. Cassie bids the Bay an emotional farewell as she leaves with Matilda. Alf avoids Sally as he struggles to come to terms with the prospect of seeing her go. What really happened to Sam? And Morag is confronted with a face from her past.

Coming Soon
Belle gets a new job.
Morag reveals her theory about Sam’s death.
Ric betrays Matilda’s trust.
Colleen puts Martha in a difficult position.
Larry has to make a decision.
