Geoff and Aden vie for the same girl’s affections. Have Jack and Martha made a mistake? Nicole shows her true colours. Tony makes an unexpected proposal. Will Ric live to fight another day?

This week, Roman’s daughter, Nicole, is making her mark on the Bay. Everyone is talking about her – including Irene and Leah who just cannot believe that Roman has a teenage daughter. Cagey as ever, Roman does not divulge many details, except to say that he has only recently become involved in Nicole’s life. Geoff and Aden are also taking an interest in Roman’s daughter – but for a completely different reason. Geoff is instantly besotted with the pretty blonde, and he cannot even string a sentence together in her presence. The green-eyed monster gets the better of Aden and he muscles in on Geoff, warning him to stay away from Nicole. With Geoff out of the way, Aden is free to make his move, but what will Nicole’s reaction be?

Elsewhere, the path of true love is running smoothly for Jack and Martha – or is it? With Sam’s death in the very recent past, the couple decide to keep their relationship a secret for the time being. But when Alf walks in on them kissing, the cat is well and truly out of the bag. Having managed the tricky task of getting Alf’s blessing, Jack and Martha start spreading their happy news. But not everyone approves – especially not Morag. She does not believe the relationship will last and thinks Martha is better off staying with Roman. But there could be more to Morag’s reaction than meets the eye...

There is also a surprise in store for Ric this week as the day of his big fight arrives. He is left quaking in his boots when he finds out who his opponent in the duel will be – Logan from Johnny Cooper’s gang. There is no doubt that Logan will be out for revenge. To make matters worse, Ric is suffering from flu and is in no condition to put in his best performance. Fearing for Ric’s life, Jazz and Matilda beg him to pull out of the fight. Despite their pleas, Ric steps into the ring. Logan wastes no time in unleashing an onslaught of punches on his opponent. When Ric hits the floor, Logan is fuming that he did not have longer to punish his rival. Ric is in bad shape and is immediately rushed to hospital. Have Jazz and Matilda’s worst fears been played out?

Also this week, Tony takes Rachel out for a romantic dinner. Geoff sees an ugly side to Nicole’s personality. Jazz attempts to hoodwink Rachel. Melody has a hot date. Roman fears that Aden has been pushed too far. And Viv returns to the Bay.
