Geoff gets served with a restraining order. Aden struggles with his relationship with Nicole. Jack and Martha throw a party. Jazz realises it is time to move on with her life. Ric and Matilda try in vain to get some time alone. Is there another woman in Ross’s life?

It is a difficult week for Geoff – Christine has banned him from seeing Melody. Despite this, Belle and Annie encourage him to pay his girlfriend a secret visit, and Geoff takes their advice. Unfortunately, Christine catches him in the act and threatens to involve the police. The final straw comes when Christine finds Melody and Geoff together at Jack and Martha’s engagement party. Furious, Christine tears Geoff to shreds in a tirade of verbal abuse. A bewildered Annie cannot believe that Christine has Melody so firmly under her thumb. She encourages her friend to leave home for a while.

Yet, deep down, both Annie and Melody know that Christine has her daughter’s best interests at heart. And Geoff realises that if he wants to be with Melody, his best chance is to come to some kind of compromise with her mother. But before he gets the chance to meet with Christine, the police arrive to serve Geoff with a restraining order.

Elsewhere, Nicole’s life is not so exciting. When she finds herself home alone with Aden, she decides to liven up the evening – by trying to seduce him. But when things between the pair get more heated, Aden pulls away and walks out. Baffled, Nicole cannot understand why Aden has turned her down. His reluctance to talk only intensifies Nicole’s curiosity. She is determined to find out what Aden’s problem is – but she may not like what she hears.

Back at Jack and Martha’s engagement party, Jazz is intent on drowning her sorrows. Her recent break-up with Miles has left her feeling raw, and she downs drink after drink, whilst managing to offend almost all of the other revellers. The night gets well and truly out of hand when Jazz slaps Christine across the face.

Someone has to get Jazz under control before she ruins the entire evening. Tony steps in and drags her home, but Jazz digs an even deeper hole for herself by making a move on him. In the cold, sober light of day, Jazz understands what she must do to get over Miles and redeem herself – she has no choice but to leave Summer Bay.

Elsewhere in the Bay, Ric and Matilda are trying to grab a few romantic moments together, but they keep bumping into Ross and Morag, who seem to have the same idea. And Morag fears that romance may not be on the menu after all when Ross becomes secretive about a mystery caller to his mobile phone. Could there be another woman in Ross’s life?
