Jazz sets her sights on Miles. Viv drops a bombshell on Ric. Nicole plays the role of seductress to win a bet. Noel gives Ric an ultimatum. Jack and Martha return to the Bay. Morag loses her cool.

This week, Ric is left reeling after Viv reveals that not only is she having his baby, but that there are severe complications with the pregnancy. Doctors have recommended a termination, but Viv is not convinced that she can go through with the procedure. Ric breaks the news to Matilda, with surprising results – she is willing to give Viv and the baby her full support. Now that keeping the baby is a viable option for Viv, she realises that there is a further risk in all this. Can her marriage to Noel survive the strain of raising a child with a disability?

Life is looking rosier for Jazz, who decides to take the plunge and ask Miles out. Their somewhat awkward date turns out to be a success as Miles slowly relaxes and sparks fly. The couple walk away feeling happy, but when Leah finds out about the burgeoning romance, she is not impressed. Miles is still feeling fragile since his breakdown, and Jazz is on the hunt for a replacement for Tony. Does it really make sense for them to be together?

Elsewhere, Nicole is beginning a flirtation of her own. To prove that she is the hottest girl in Summer Bay, Nicole bets Aden $200 that she can lure Geoff into bed with her within two weeks. She starts her mission with gusto – while cavorting with Geoff in the sea, she deliberately loses her bikini top.

Despite Nicole’s blatant advances, however, Geoff continues his pursuit of Melody. Frustrated, Nicole changes tack and tries to befriend Melody instead. When Geoff sees how kind she is being, will he change his opinion of her? Nicole also cheers on Geoff during his football match and even attends a service at his church. Her plan appears to be working as the good-hearted Geoff warms to her advances. But the deal may be well and truly sealed when Nicole offers to give kissing lessons to the inexperienced Geoff under the pretence of helping him win Melody.

Also this week, Roman flexes his parenting muscles in an attempt to control his daughter. When Colleen will not leave Morag and Ross alone during their dinner date, Morag is left with no choice but to show her the door. Irene is vexed to see Annie dressing like her idol Nicole. Jack and Martha try to convince Morag that they are right for each other. Geoff and Melody take their relationship to the next level. Jack and his police buddies advise Ric to go through with another illegal fight. And Noel tells Ric it is not just his life he will be fighting for – but also the life of his unborn child.
