Colleen makes a life-changing discovery. Morag helps Aden open up about his past. Jack gives Sam an ultimatum. Matilda struggles to keep a brave face. Things get complicated for Geoff. A surprise guest arrives in the Bay.

The week’s events are earth-shattering in more ways than one. The tremor that damaged the Diner unearths a buried time capsule, which in turn reveals that Colleen and Alf are brother and sister! This stunning development leaves Alf and Morag reeling – can the notoriously ditsy Colleen really be related to them? However, their surprise is nothing compared to the shockwaves that ripple through the Bay. As Colleen excitedly spreads the news in her characteristically gossipy fashion, a series of unfortunate misunderstandings results in everybody thinking that Alf and Colleen are actually getting married. The horrified pair eventually find themselves guests of honour at their own engagement party! This is going to take some explaining... Learning that she has a new family member is not the only thing on Morag’s mind this week. A few odd comments by Aden have made her suspect that he is hiding something, and she decides to find out what is bothering the troubled teen. Morag challenges Aden to a game of pool with interesting stakes: he will get $1,000 if he wins, but if he loses, he must answer a few questions. Not expecting Morag to be the pool pro that she is, Aden loses the game and begins to open up. It soon emerges that his imminent HIV test results are not Aden’s only worry – there is something in his past that is troubling him too. Will Morag be able to get to the bottom of the issue?

Also hiding something is Jack, who is starting to collapse under the pressure of keeping his wife’s guilty secret. With Sam having just confessed that she is going to have a baby, Jack is faced with the choice of sending his pregnant wife to jail or letting her get away with Johnny’s murder. Eventually he comes to a decision – but will Sam accept the ultimatum he gives her?
Elsewhere this week, the preparations get underway for Sally’s send-off. Geoff has complications in his love life. Matilda is dreading saying goodbye to Cassie. And when an old face returns to the Bay in the form of Floss McPhee, it soon emerges that her presence may save somebody’s life...
