(1998) Brad Pitt plays Joe Black, who is Death in human guise and visiting Earth to find out what is so wonderful about being alive. He choses William Parrish (Anthony Hopkins) as his guide; a tycoon who has just survived a heart attack and who will continue to live as long as Joe needs further guidance.
