When Earl and Billie find that they can't get along, Earl tries to discover the reason why Karma brought the two of them together in the first place. As he works on the list, he notices that dealing with items where he had wronged or upset a woman helps to change Billie's behaviour for the better and improve their relationship.

After the prison warden refuses to honour his agreement to allow Earl's early release and instead throws him into solitary confinement, Earl tries to break out of jail with help from Randy, Frank and Paco on the inside, and Joy and Darnell - disguised as a nun and a priest - on the outside.
