Rachel and Susan are forced to confront some painful memories this week as the day of Angus’s sentencing arrives. Rachel is shocked when she bumps into Angus in the school, but their bittersweet reunion is witnessed by Miranda, who tussles with her conscience over whether she should tell Susan. When Susan finally hears of it, Rachel works hard to convince her that nothing untoward is going on. In court, Rachel delivers a moving statement in which she apologises to her family and makes it clear that she shares the blame for what happened between her and Angus. Susan is touched by what she has to say, but both Rachel and Angus are devastated when the judge hands down a tough custodial sentence. On his way to jail, Angus passes Rachel a note to remind her of his love.

Is there hope for Frazer and Rosie? Ringo puts himself in grave danger. Sparks fly between Elle and Oliver. Libby plans a dinner for Dan and Sam. Steve tries to get through to Riley.
Frazer and Rosie finally have some good news this week when they go for one last ultrasound and the doctor is stunned to find a heartbeat. Overjoyed to hear that they are going to be parents after all, they immediately set about planning an extended trip to Italy. The news puts Ringo in a quandary about his future, as he knows he will have to find somewhere else to live. His uncertainty leads to the return of his eating disorder. At first Rachel is the only person to notice that he is skipping meals and overexercising.
But when Ringo begs her to keep quiet about his problem, she is conflicted about the best way to help him. She keeps his secret from Frazer, but eventually alerts Susan to his condition when she asks if Ringo can move in with the Kennedy-Kinski household.

Frazer and Rosie face a terrible blow this week when an ultrasound fails to find their baby’s heartbeat. The doctor believes Rosie has experienced a “false pregnancy”. Rosie cannot help but apologise to Frazer, believing she is to blame for their situation. Their anguish is made worse when they return home to find their friends have thrown them a surprise baby shower. While their neighbours console them, Rosie slips into denial. She says she still feels pregnant despite what the doctors say, and chooses to ignore the diagnosis. She finds an ally in Sam, who encourages her to follow her maternal instincts.
An exasperated Frazer tries to make Rosie see she is mistaken, and calls on his mum, Prue, to help talk her round. But Frazer is stunned when Rosie finally opens up about her feelings.

It is a momentous week for the residents of Ramsay Street as a beloved neighbour leaves for pastures new. Harold is about to set off in his camper van on a trip across Australia, but first he must get through the painful process of saying his goodbyes. He also gains an unexpected companion in the form of Valda, who wants to hitch a ride to visit Lyn. As the day of Harold’s departure looms, he is touched to receive a letter from Lou, in which his best mate reveals his true feelings about him. Harold hands over the keys to number 24 to Marco and Carmella, asking them to take care of the old place, before his friends gather in the general store to throw him a surprise leaving party. As Harold drives away, will Erinsborough ever be the same again?

In the wake of his sudden collapse, Lou is rushed to hospital, where Karl diagnoses him with an anxiety attack. Harold is overcome with guilt and candidly tells Lou what their friendship means to him. At first, it seems Lou cannot swallow his pride and admit just how much Harold’s plan to leave Erinsborough is affecting him. But later, when Steve and Miranda help him see that he still has friends in Ramsay Street, Lou finds it within himself to give Harold’s trip his blessing. Harold promptly agrees to sell his house to Marco and Carmella, who are desperate to set up home together with Chloe. But when Harold realises just how deeply Lou is hurting, he is plunged into a quandary. Should he renege on his deal with Marco? And can he live with himself if he does?

Having endured countless ups and downs on the way to the altar, Toadie and Steph continue to be blighted by bad luck as their big day arrives. At the church door, Steph suffers a bout of nerves and threatens to make Toadie’s nightmare of being jilted come true. Toadie’s relief at seeing his bride walking up the aisle turns to dismay when Steph stumbles through her vows and he sees that she is only there to make him happy. A devastated Toadie stuns the congregation by leaving Steph at the altar. He retreats to the Kennedy house and ignores attempts by Karl, Frazer and Libby to talk him round. Unfortunately his meddling infuriates Elle and
leads to a deep division between father and
daughter. Rebecca intervenes and convinces Elle to seek Karl’s help in dealing with the posttraumatic stress she has been hiding since the roof collapse. Paul feels frustrated and powerless at being left out of his daughter’s treatment, while Rebecca is alarmed when Elle’s therapy reveals some deep-seated fears about her father. Can she keep these revelations to herself? Riley, meanwhile, tries to maintain his distance from Elle, but finds that his feelings only intensify as their separation continues.

However, Rachel feels utterly betrayed when
Taylah lets Zeke know of her whereabouts. Zeke
turns up at the house and shocks his sister with
some home truths, before putting his foot in it by
revealing that Susan confronted Angus. Rachel is
convinced that Susan forced Angus to lie and say
that he never loved her. Returning home, she
confronts Susan and delivers a stinging attack on
her behaviour. Libby intervenes and tries to get
through to Rachel by talking about her experience
with Taj – infuriating her mum in the process. But
Susan is shocked when Libby says she still
cannot forgive her for refusing to support her at

Bridget makes a humiliating sacrifice and declares
she has an unrequited crush on her teacher. But
as rumours begin to spread, Declan begins his
own investigation and soon pieces together the

monday 7 – friday 11 april
Carmella goes into premature labour. Darren’s
infidelity puts Ned under pressure. Steve and
Miranda’s bid for the house hits a snag. Zeke
shocks Karl with a terrible truth.
As her due date draws near, Carmella sets about
making a birth plan that includes the two men in
her life – her current suitor, Marco, and the father
of her child, Oliver. However, it would seem that
Carmella has less time to plan than she expected,
as she is suddenly hit by painful contractions and
goes into premature labour. She is rushed to
hospital, where it becomes clear that the baby is
in distress. Carmella’s dream of a natural birth is
shattered when doctors perform an emergency
C-section. The baby girl is rushed to intensive
care with breathing difficulties, and a distraught
Carmella refuses to leave her side. As the baby
battles to survive, Carmella starts to blame herself
for her daughter’s condition. She decides to focus
