Monday 15th – Episode 5826

Lou is warned that the police will arrest him and charge him with kidnapping if he does not hand over Harry. The whole neighbourhood pitches in to hide Harry until his case worker finally catches up with him. Karl, meanwhile, realises the stress that Dan and Libby’s marital difficulties are putting on Susan. He issues Dan with an ultimatum to stay away from his wife.

Donna pursues her latest design, the ‘shrug-a-lero’, but when she presents it to Ringo in front of his St John Ambulance mates, he is embarrassed by her.

Sensing that Libby’s heart is not in the decision, Susan pushes Toadie to speak to her sonin- law. But a furious Dan realises that Susan is meddling in his life once again...

This week, Steph tells her mum that their food is responsible for poisoning everyone at the ball. She urges her to come clean to the authorities, but a terrified Lyn worries that her business will be ruined. Lou figures out Lyn’s secret and attempts to blackmail her with a list of demands – including his reinstatement as manager of the store. If Lyn does not submit, he will take one of the offending sandwiches to the health department. In the event, Lyn decides to comes clean about the poisoning. But Steph and Toadie realise that Lyn and Lou need to overcome their bickering if they are to make the store a success. The pair broker a truce – but Toadie is less than pleased when Lou abruptly announces he is moving in with him.

This week, still feeling guilty about selling the house, Elle partners Lucas to the ball. After Toadie encourages her to tell Lucas the truth, Elle struggles to come clean. When she finds an ATM slip in her boyfriend’s pocket showing he has withdrawn a large sum of cash, she becomes convinced he is gambling again and confronts him. A nervous Lucas then reveals the real reason for the withdrawal – he has bought an engagement ring! Stunned by Lucas’s commitment reversal, Elle questions what is behind his proposal. But when she eventually reveals her financial situation, Lucas is unfazed. The two ultimately agree to marry – but how will Dan react?

This week, Donna is determined to impress her boss Saffron in the build-up to an important show at the fashion studio. Ringo is concerned by the harsh way Saffron treats her staff, but Donna is keen to please. In a tense moment, a stressed Saffron opens up to Donna and confides her fears. But later, Saffron pretends the conversation never happened, and blasts her team for not working hard enough. After experiencing the full force of Saffron’s anger, Donna threatens to quit and Saffron slaps her. Shocked, Donna withdraws into herself. Rebecca notices the change in her behaviour and senses that something is wrong. After persuading Donna to tell the truth, Rebecca urges her to press charges. But what will this mean for Donna’s fashion career?

This week, Kate auditions for the Ministry of Dance showcase. But she arrives late after attending Sophie’s prize-giving and fails to impress the judge. Having flopped at the audition, a devastated Kate takes her frustration out on Harry and Sophie. To get over her disappointment, Kate then throws herself into organising the ‘green’ debutant ball. She hopes to off-set the electricity used at the ball by having volunteers generate power on bikes. Twelve specially adapted bicycles are connected to the grid at Lassiter’s and Kate convinces the lunchtime crowd to get involved. But her rival, Amanda Fowler, is so incensed by her success that she sabotages the bikes. Has another of Kate’s dreams died?

Having been trapped in the radio station storeroom by Robin, Zeke tries to find a way out. At the same time, Robin cosies up to Sunny at the coffee shop. When Sunny realises that Zeke is missing, they go looking for him and wind up back at Pirate Net. Robin pretends to discover the missing lad in the cupboard and lets him out. A furious Zeke struggles to convince Sunny that Robin locked him in the cupboard. Matters worsen when Robin and Zeke come to blows and Sunny accuses her boyfriend of being jealous. But when Sunny comes across proof that Robin is lying, she traps him into revealing his guilt. Humiliated, Robin lashes out by targeting the radio station. Can the troubled lad be stopped?

Steph is unsure how to react this week when Lucas asks her out for a drink. Afraid that he hopes to rekindle a spark between them, Steph firmly puts Lucas in his place and explains that she does not want to be his rebound girl. However, Lucas insists he just wants to rebuild their friendship. Elle, meanwhile, feels an urge to reconnect with Lucas, so employs herself as an apprentice mechanic at the garage –much to the surprise of Lucas and Steph. Suspicious of her motives, Lucas wonders whether she is playing another cruel stunt. Elle is forced to come clean and admit that she does not want to go to New York and that she misses him. The pair’s passion is abruptly reignited – but just how long can it last?

Donna runs away in search of James. Paul threatens Lyn with legal action. Kate embarrasses Harry at school. Susan discovers Ringo’s secret.

The Robinsons discover that Donna has run away this week. A note explains that she wants to make it up to Elle for James’s fraud. Ringo, Lucas and Elle put their heads together and come up with a lead as to where Donna might be. They finally catch up with her at a country pub, but the tearaway teen refuses to come home until she has found James. She also lets slips that she knows of Elle’s job offer in New York – news that comes as a shock to Lucas. While Lucas takes Elle to task for not telling him about the job, Donna tracks down another woman who was a victim of James’s scam – but there is no sign of the con artist. After some debate, Elle, Lucas and Ringo convince Donna to drop her campaign and return to Ramsay Street with them.
