Rebecca is keen to keep her renewed relationship with Paul a secret this week. She is afraid of looking foolish if he cheats on her again, so Paul tries to assuage her fears by presenting her with an unusual sort of contract. Paul promises to compensate Rebecca financially if he is unfaithful to her again. After Elle explains the twisted logic behind Paul’s idea, Rebecca accepts his offer. She goes public with the news of their reconciliation – but receives a mixed reaction from friends and family. Rebecca and Paul have a few teething problems as they grow accustomed to their new arrangement. But when Paul unexpectedly goes out on a limb for Declan, Rebecca knows that she can count on him.

Sass stuns Donna with a shocking revelation. Declan has a brush with death. Dan chooses to stage Toadie’s play. Will Ty follow his heart? Rebecca falls for Paul again.

This week, Donna presses ahead with her plan to ‘divorce’ her mother. When Donna returns to live with Elle, Sass hits back by stealing Elle’s cat. Elle eventually finds the poor moggy hiding under number 24, but her claustrophobia prevents her from rescuing the animal. Declan duly obliges, only to be electrocuted by some loose wiring. Neighbours rush to help, but it is Paul who saves the day by performing CPR on Declan. Already struggling to fight her feelings for the wily Robinson, Rebecca is annoyed that Paul has once again made it difficult to hate him. Meanwhile, Donna blames Sass for Declan’s accident and urges her to leave town. But Sass replies by sharing a shocking truth – Matt is not Donna’s father!

Callum’s nightmares of Guy come true. Can Sass and Donna bury the hatchet? Lucas forces Elle to make a difficult choice. Sparks fly between Sunny and Zeke.

Callum is afraid that crazed criminal Guy Sykes will return to hurt them this week. Toadie tries to reassure his young charge, but Callum’s nightmares come true when Guy reappears inside their house and holds them hostage. He refuses to leave until Toadie hands over the $20,000 he believes he is owed. Toadie’s neighbours grow curious about what is happening at number 30 and Zeke eventually realises that Guy is inside. The police arrive and lay siege to the house while Callum manages to escape, only for Ramsay Street to fear the worst when a gun goes off. Officers sweep inside and find Toadie has Guy pinned to the floor. The gunman is taken away, while Toadie is left to reflect on a very close call...

Bridget and Declan’s find attracts the attention of Guy Sykes, the man who once shot Toadie. Elle’s meddling puts Zeke’s life in danger. Donna’s secret begins to unravel.

Bridget and Declan wonder what to do with the $20,000 they found buried in the community garden this week. Before they can decide, Mickey pinches the money and reburies it. He then takes some of the loot and goes on a spending spree with Callum, only to be caught red-handed by Toadie and Steve. Toadie is disturbed to learn that the money originally belonged to Zeke’s sister, Katya, and that she was going to use it to pay off crazed criminal Guy Sykes. Toadie is afraid that the publicity surrounding the cash will lure the man who once shot him back to Erinsborough. His fears prove well founded when Guy reappears in Ramsay Street and demands his $20,000 from a helpless Zeke.

Sass accuses Paul of harassment. There is a new arrival on Ramsay Street. Elle gets herself into an embarrassing situation. Could Zeke’s secret be out? Ringo makes a big mistake.

Poor Paul is in big trouble this week after Sass accuses him of harassment and calls the police. While Elle and Rebecca are convinced of Paul’s innocence, the neighbours are divided. Donna suspects Sass is up to something, but her conviction is tested when she sees how vitriolic Paul is towards her mother. She decides to move back in to find evidence that Sass is setting Paul up – but events take a shocking twist when Sass receives a threatening letter. After Paul and Rebecca deny sending it, Sass becomes intent on finding out who is behind the threats, determined to protect her life in Ramsay Street. However, her animosity towards the neighbours is not making her any friends – can she get them on her side?

Ringo is in hot water this week when his hard partying threatens his fledgling football career. After ditching a movie marathon with Declan and the old gang, Ringo goes to a party at Lassiter’s with the boys from the club. Things soon get out of hand, and Ringo’s new friends leave him to take the heat for a trashed hotel room. Alienated by his friends, Ringo seeks solace with football groupie Ashley – only to discover she is the daughter of his coach, Nathan! He promises the protective father he will leave Ashley alone, but the spurned young woman then accuses Ringo of harassment in front of the whole street. Will the neighbours rally round the troubled teen? Or has Ringo well and truly burned his bridges?

Dan and Libby’s happiness seems to be complete this week when they are inspired to name their unborn baby after Susan’s mother. But Libby cannot escape the feeling that something is not quite right. Her worst fears are confirmed when she collapses at school and is rushed to hospital. Libby is devastated to learn she has lost the baby. In her grief, she clings to the hope that she and Dan can still have a child. But when her blood pressure drops, Dan is forced to make a desperate decision on his stricken wife’s behalf. He tells the doctors to do everything to save Libby’s life, even though it means she will not be able to have another child. When Libby emerges from surgery, she berates Dan for his choice. Will she ever forgive him?

Zeke and Ringo prepare for their boxing match this week. But they are stunned when they each receive a letter from Donna, telling them that she wants nothing more to do with them. Rejection does nothing to quell the boys’ fighting spirit, however. As friends and family gather at the gym for the boxing match, Ringo and Zeke fail to show. The fight has moved to another venue – and by the time their friends arrive, Zeke has been knocked unconscious. However, Ringo insists that he is not to blame for Zeke’s blackout. It soon becomes clear that Zeke is still suffering trauma from the rafting accident. In a bid to avoid professional counselling, he pretends to bury the hatchet with Ringo. But how long can Zeke insist that all is well?

Rebecca finds herself at the centre of a love triangle this week. After spending the night with Paul, she is reunited with former love Andrew Simpson, who declares that he wants to be with her once and for all. The pair confirm their whirlwind romance is back on when Andrew asks Rebecca to marry him – and she says yes. Paul, meanwhile, is devastated to have his hopes of a reconciliation dashed. Elle urges her father to fight for the woman he loves, so Paul lays his heart on the line – only for Rebecca to tell him that she is moving on. News of Rebecca and Andrew’s engagement spreads around the street, but is she as committed to her new relationship as she would like everyone to believe?

Libby is hit by a mysterious health crisis this week as her wedding looms. Determined not to let anything get in the way of her nuptials, she refuses to seek medical advice. But does she know more than she is letting on? The wedding day proceeds as planned and Libby struggles to keep her pain hidden. She walks down the aisle and weds Dan with all her friends looking on – only to collapse moments later. Libby is rushed to hospital and is hit by a stunning diagnosis – she is pregnant. Ever since her motorbike accident with Steph years ago, Libby’s health has been deemed too fragile for her to have children. Giving birth to Ben was a massive risk – will she endanger herself all over again in a bid to give Dan a child?

Neighbours – an Interview with Kym Valentine Kym Valentine has played Libby Kennedy in ‘Neighbours’ since 1994. In 2008, she took a five- week break due to ill health. She recently visited the UK to talk about her role in the show.

How has your reception been in the UK?
British fans are just so warm and lovely. You guys seem to be really passionate about it. And you guys remember stuff. You bring up past storylines and things that I had completely forgotten about.

Have you encountered fans in other countries?
Getting recognised in New York was kind of memorable. I was standing on Fifth Avenue and this British girl was screaming at me. All the Americans stopped and went, “Who is it?” They had no idea. I was so embarrassed because everyone started crowding around!

Is Zeke alive? Miranda fears her secret will be exposed when Bridget’s birth mum appears. Harold says goodbye for the last time. Declan confronts Ty.

The Kennedys are rocked by the discovery that Zeke is alive and well this week. He has been living with Phil Andrews under the name ‘Trent’, and seems to have no memory of his former life. After receiving a phone call from a confused Zeke, Susan and Karl rush to see him. They find themselves pitched into an emotional tug of war with Phil, who claims that Zeke is his own son. The police arrive to take Phil away for questioning and the Kennedys bring Zeke home to Ramsay Street. The boy is diagnosed with dissociative fugue – a disorder in which victims of trauma lose their sense of identity. The only person Zeke seems to trust is Rachel, and he presents her with a dilemma when he asks to return to Phil’s house. What will Rachel do?

A Ramsay Street legend faces death. Elle finds a sinister clue about Zeke’s disappearance. Will Sam’s secret be exposed? Steve is appalled by Miranda’s actions.

Ramsay Street’s residents fear the worst this week when a beloved friend is felled by a heart attack. Put-upon Donna is having a hard time with her family and ex-boyfriend Ringo, but she finds a new friend in Harold, who helps her to cope with her problems. However, events take a terrible turn when Donna encourages Harold to recite an old rap he once wrote – only for him to collapse with a heart attack. Harold is rushed to hospital in a critical condition, where Karl learns his old friend has a Not for Resuscitation order on his file. Karl ignores the order – but when he comes round, an angry Harold berates him for his actions. It appears he has lost the will to go on – so his neighbours rally round him and hold a vigil. Will he find the strength to cling to life?

Rachel is furious with Libby. Elle investigates Zeke’s disappearance. Donna’s mother arrives to stir up the street. Miranda tries to stop Bridget finding her birth mother.

Zeke’s apparent death hangs over Ramsay Street this week. Libby throws herself into the plans for his memorial service, but her guilt gets the better of her and she finally admits that she let go of Zeke’s hand while they were underwater following the rafting accident. Karl and Susan console her but a furious Rachel cannot bring herself to forgive Libby. She issues an ultimatum, insisting that Libby cannot attend the service. She further hits back at her stepsister by destroying her bridesmaid dress for Libby’s wedding. Meanwhile, the teens are shocked to discover photos of Donna among Zeke’s possessions. Did he have a crush on Ringo’s girl? Ringo cannot contain his jealousy and accuses Donna of cheating on him with Zeke.

Greg appears on Steph’s doorstep. Rachel launches her pop career. Harold makes a big decision. Rebecca moves into the Parker house. Have the police found Zeke?

Steph tells Greg she wants to take their relationship slowly this week, only to be overtaken by events outside her control. After a furious Veronica freezes his bank account, Greg turns up on Steph’s doorstep needing a place to stay. Later the pair make their first public outing as a couple at Charlie’s Bar, only to be humiliated by Veronica. When Steph notices that Greg is having trouble dealing with the fallout from his marriage, she selflessly encourages him to go back to Veronica if that is what he desires. Greg renews his commitment to Steph, but Libby is less than impressed. Their friendship hits a new low when Libby accuses her old pal of putting her own interests before Charlie’s.
