Weekdays at 1:45 and 5.30pm
Is Zeke alive? Miranda fears her secret will be exposed when Bridget’s birth mum appears. Harold says goodbye for the last time. Declan confronts Ty.
The Kennedys are rocked by the discovery that Zeke is alive and well this week. He has been living with Phil Andrews under the name ‘Trent’, and seems to have no memory of his former life. After receiving a phone call from a confused Zeke, Susan and Karl rush to see him. They find themselves pitched into an emotional tug of war with Phil, who claims that Zeke is his own son. The police arrive to take Phil away for questioning and the Kennedys bring Zeke home to Ramsay Street. The boy is diagnosed with dissociative fugue – a disorder in which victims of trauma lose their sense of identity. The only person Zeke seems to trust is Rachel, and he presents her with a dilemma when he asks to return to Phil’s house. What will Rachel do?
Bridget is also having a traumatic week as she comes face to face with her birth mother, Joanna. She finally has a chance to ask all those burning questions about her past, but Miranda interrupts, desperate to prevent Joanna from revealing that she was paid to stay away. When Miranda eventually admits the truth, she is rewarded with Bridget’s fury. The girl’s unforgiving reaction prompts Joanna to question if Bridget is mature enough to be a mother. A devastated Bridget decides to give her unborn baby up for adoption – without consulting Declan. Horrified by the prospect of losing her grandchild, Miranda offers to raise the baby herself...
Meanwhile, a revitalised Harold announces that he is to leave Erinsborough for good. His plan to slip away quietly is thwarted by his neighbours, who throw him a surprise party. Before leaving, Harold hands out a few gifts and entrusts Toadie with a history of Ramsay Street that he has been writing. After more than 20 years of drama, tears and laughter, Harold Bishop leaves Ramsay Street for the very last time to the sounds of a Salvation Army band...
Also this week, hot-headed Ringo accuses Ty of taking an interest in Donna. Steph is determined to make Rebecca’s fundraiser a success. Paul cannot resist Sass’s cat-and-mouse game. And Elle is annoyed to learn that Lucas has been aiding Sass in her endeavours.
