Is there hope for Frazer and Rosie? Ringo puts himself in grave danger. Sparks fly between Elle and Oliver. Libby plans a dinner for Dan and Sam. Steve tries to get through to Riley.

Frazer and Rosie finally have some good news this week when they go for one last ultrasound and the doctor is stunned to find a heartbeat. Overjoyed to hear that they are going to be parents after all, they immediately set about planning an extended trip to Italy. The news puts Ringo in a quandary about his future, as he knows he will have to find somewhere else to live. His uncertainty leads to the return of his eating disorder. At first Rachel is the only person to notice that he is skipping meals and overexercising.

But when Ringo begs her to keep quiet about his problem, she is conflicted about the best way to help him. She keeps his secret from Frazer, but eventually alerts Susan to his condition when she asks if Ringo can move in with the Kennedy-Kinski household.

A betrayed Ringo feels his family and friends are turning their backs on him. Battling his demons, he pushes himself beyond his limits in a swim at the beach – with dangerous consequences.

When he fails to return, Frazer, Rosie and Prue raise the alarm. Riley discovers Ringo’s backpack abandoned on the beach and a land-and-sea search is mobilised. The Ramsay Street residents band together in a bid to track down their missing neighbour, but as the hours pass with no sign of Ringo, the emotional strain takes its toll on his loved ones. Bridget is especially upset, leading her to question her emotions. Does she have feelings for Ringo? The police call a halt to the search while a storm front pushes in, but Bridget persists in scouring the beach – only to find Ringo’s unconscious body on the sand. She desperately tries to resuscitate him – but is it too late for Ringo?

While Ramsay Street is distracted by these dramatic events, Elle and Oliver find time to kickstart their old affair. They are both taken aback when they succumb to a passionate kiss, but Rebecca is less than pleased when she finds out. Disappointed with Oliver, she accuses him of lacking self-control, and wonders if Elle is setting herself up for heartbreak. Elle does not want to damage the relationship she has built up with Rebecca, but she cannot overcome her attraction to Oliver. Is she playing with fire?

Also this week, Libby plans a dinner party for Dan and Sam. Steve’s inability to get through to Riley causes him to lose his temper. Elle learns that Paul is in Paris with Kirsten, behind Rebecca’s back. Frazer is stunned when Prue confesses she still blames him for his brother Paul’s death as a child. And Steph discovers a shocking truth about Ty.
