Rachel’s affair with Angus implodes. Ramsay
Street throws a party. A shocking truth emerges.

Karl’s first patient is a familiar face.
Rachel and Bridget find themselves in hot water
this week over Rachel’s ongoing affair with Angus.
Bridget does not approve of the relationship, but
when it looks like Daniel is about to find out, she
rushes to Angus’s flat to warn them. While Rachel
hides in the bedroom, Daniel arrives to find
Bridget and Angus arguing, and mistakenly
assumes they are romantically involved. They
manage to convince him otherwise, but when
Daniel stumbles upon other evidence to fuel his
suspicions, he feels he has no choice but to call
Bridget’s parents. To protect Rachel and Angus,
Bridget makes a humiliating sacrifice and declares
she has an unrequited crush on her teacher. But
as rumours begin to spread, Declan begins his
own investigation and soon pieces together the
truth. He reveals everything just as Steve goes to
confront Angus, and all hell breaks loose...Elsewhere, Rosie and Frazer host a barbecue
to celebrate the birth of Carmella and Oliver’s
baby, Chloe. Rosie invites a reluctant Marco to
the party in the hope of rekindling the romance
between him and her sister, but Marco reveals
that he is leaving town for good. Carmella is
eventually discharged from hospital, but a
beautiful gift from the absent Marco reminds her
of the love she has lost. Sensing her sister’s
unhappiness, Rosie forces her to decide whether
she can really let Marco walk out of her life.
Rosie’s barbecue proves to be a dramatic
battleground for another troubled couple. Janae
is wracked with guilt over her kiss with Darren and
wonders whether she should tell Libby. In the
middle of the party, she begs Darren to come
clean, only for the music to stop and her plea to
be broadcast to the whole street. The party
grinds to a halt as Darren reveals the truth to
Libby, who swears she wants nothing more to do
with him. She announces that she is taking a
permanent job at Erinsborough High School, but
struggles to find a way to break the news of their
split to Ben. Darren works hard to patch things up
with his stepson before bidding Ramsay Street
farewell one last time.
Also this week, Karl is plunged into the middle
of a moral dilemma when his first emergency
patient is Richard Aaronow, Declan and Oliver’s
estranged father. Richard is dying of kidney failure
but insists he does not want his family to know.
Meanwhile, Susan’s MS symptoms escalate in
the wake of Libby and Darren’s traumatic split.
Riley and Elle try to forget that he confessed his
feelings for her. And Ned tells Janae she should
move out of the house.
