Weekdays at 1:45 and 5.30pm
Ringo continues his downward spiral. An April Fool has disastrous consequences for Rebecca. Can Libby and Dan move on from their loss? Elle and Lucas make a big decision about their future.
Ringo is in hot water this week when his hard partying threatens his fledgling football career. After ditching a movie marathon with Declan and the old gang, Ringo goes to a party at Lassiter’s with the boys from the club. Things soon get out of hand, and Ringo’s new friends leave him to take the heat for a trashed hotel room. Alienated by his friends, Ringo seeks solace with football groupie Ashley – only to discover she is the daughter of his coach, Nathan! He promises the protective father he will leave Ashley alone, but the spurned young woman then accuses Ringo of harassment in front of the whole street. Will the neighbours rally round the troubled teen? Or has Ringo well and truly burned his bridges?
Elsewhere, Toadie starts an April Fools’ Day war when he stages a fake evacuation of Steph’s house. Steph, Rebecca and Declan begin a ‘Prank Toadie’ campaign in retaliation, and Rebecca thinks she has won when she buys a fake winning scratch card for Toadie. However, she is horrified when it falls into the hands of Sass, who proceeds to go on an expensive shopping spree! Convinced Rebecca humiliated her on purpose, Sass vows revenge. Not only does Sass frame Rebecca for selling alcohol to minors, she then sets her sights on Rebecca’s true love, Paul. Will Sass’s vindictive plans succeed in bringing Rebecca down?
Meanwhile, Libby and Dan are devastated by the loss of their unborn baby. Libby comes home from hospital, but she and Dan decide to keep the news of the miscarriage from Ben. Toadie and Steph fear this is a sign the unhappy couple are not coping properly, and they are proved right when Libby and Dan throw themselves into separate sporting projects. Ben later acts out by ruining Ty’s beloved song book, and Dan and Libby suspect his behaviour is down to the frosty atmosphere. Ben’s actions ultimately force Dan and Libby to admit they have been living in denial. Can they get through the difficult grieving process together?
Also this week, Lucas and Elle’s happiness is challenged when they decide to move in together. Declan throws himself into his job at Lassiter’s. And Zeke enjoys his growing popularity as ‘Lost Boy’ – but can he keep his identity a secret?
