Callum’s nightmares of Guy come true. Can Sass and Donna bury the hatchet? Lucas forces Elle to make a difficult choice. Sparks fly between Sunny and Zeke.
Callum is afraid that crazed criminal Guy Sykes will return to hurt them this week. Toadie tries to reassure his young charge, but Callum’s nightmares come true when Guy reappears inside their house and holds them hostage. He refuses to leave until Toadie hands over the $20,000 he believes he is owed. Toadie’s neighbours grow curious about what is happening at number 30 and Zeke eventually realises that Guy is inside. The police arrive and lay siege to the house while Callum manages to escape, only for Ramsay Street to fear the worst when a gun goes off. Officers sweep inside and find Toadie has Guy pinned to the floor. The gunman is taken away, while Toadie is left to reflect on a very close call...
Elsewhere, Donna admits to police that she is Sass’s stalker. In a bid to reduce Donna’s punishment, Elle begs Sass to provide a character reference for her daughter. Sass is initially reluctant, until Lucas convinces her that coming to her daughter’s defence is in her best interest. Donna despairs of her mother’s self-serving ways, but vows to love her no matter what. However, her friends become increasingly concerned as Sass inveigles her way back into the school play and then publicly humiliates Donna. When Donna’s patience finally snaps, a contrite Sass tries to make amends. But is it too late?
Paul, meanwhile, feels increasingly threatened by Lucas and Elle’s relationship and continues to antagonise Lucas. Finally, Lucas decides the three of them cannot continue to live under the same roof and hits Elle with an ultimatum – she must choose between them. Elle is furious at Lucas’s demand, and Paul is confident that his daughter will stick with him. Elle realises that she is afraid to swap the safety of home for the uncertainty of being with Lucas. Will she make a leap of faith?
Also this week, Sunny and Zeke are dismayed to learn they must work together as the leads in the school play. Declan cheers up Bridget when she realises her due date clashes with the play’s performance. Toadie buries his post-traumatic stress following Guy’s departure, but further bad news concerning Bob threatens to push him over the edge. And Ty fears that Rachel has found a new boyfriend in London.
